I'm reduced to using the same avatar until I get my new PC. The hard drive on my laptop was overloaded, had to dump all my pictures and avatars to my external drive.

Thank you kindly, Flashjeff! It is indeed in Africa - sunset in the Masai Mara, Kenya, where my Mum grew up as an ex-pat (in Kenya - not in the national park of course, lol)

Thanks for the kind words. Regarding my handle, way back in high school, I used to run track and a buddy nicknamed me "Flash" after the comic book character, and my real name is Jeff.
As for those two ladies, they are Mitsuyo Nemoto (Mie) and Keiko Masuda (Kei), a.k.a. Pink Lady, the mega-famous and legendary J-Pop song and dance duo from the late 1970's. By the by, yes, I do have a 52 inch HDTV (DLP not plasma) but only one computer. Not bad, my friend! Not bad at all!

Dude, I must come clean. I've been between jobs since I signed up on Jref, so i've been hanging around a bit and seen a couple of your posts about the ladies in your avatar (and your beloved 52" - lucky fella!) I've lived in Japan for a few years so i've heard of them of course. I've never (knowingly) heard their stuff, though, and I was gonna give your avatar just 9/10 on the basis that it didn't have any sound to rate, but then I realised in that case I might have to reduce the score if I heard them and they weren't any good
Btw, do you know what they're doing now? (Sure you do!)
And, now that i've finally met you online, can I come round and play some next-gen games on your ridiculously-oversized television set???!

If I could only read Japanese, I could tell you much more! As for video games, as soon as I get around to buying an Xbox 360, I'll be glad to accomodate you! Double HA!
