Looks like a typo to me.

Sounds like whoever wrote that is trying to say, "I wouldn't know what to do if there was no television" or something along those lines.

But how should it should be written, using なしに?

What is なしに anyway? Is it an adverbial phrase?

This sentence seems a bit strange.
You should say:
テレビなしでは、困ると思います。
I guess, you could not do without a TV-set.
or
I guess, it would be inconvenient, if no TV-set would be available.
'なしでは' : 'without'
