Question A vague and stuttering dialogue 適当なことを……お、お前はそうやって場を乱して、き、聞かぬぞ！？

Hope some JP experts on this forum could help me understand clearly what did this character said or implied here. The writer keep making this character speak stuterly and omit verbs or object/target in her dialogue ,so it's really difficult for a foreigner like me to comprehend !!!
-Story: 3 female generals A,B,Cさま are serving a Master (protagonist), A and B are subordinates of Cさま. One day after a conversation, A realized B also like the protagonist/ the Master like her superior Cさま, but doesn't think Master love her. So A encouraged B to express her love to the Master.

A「ご主人様への想いを隠さぬようになったのは、進歩だが……お主、自分の言っていることが本当にわかっているのか？」
B「どういうことだ」
A「お主の理屈では『仕方ないから譲ってやる』になる。己の想いを封じて、な」
B「そんなつもりでは……！」
A「なくても、滲み出ているということだ。臆病者め」
B「臆病者！？」
A「そうであろう？ お主は自己完結しておるだけだ。例えば、もしも主がCさまより、お主を好いておったとしたらどうする」
B「……！？」
A「主の想いをソデにするのか？ 不忠者め」
B「そんなことがあるものか……Cさまより私をだと、わ、悪い冗談だ」
A「主の想いを、お主が勝手に決め付けるな」
B「う……」
A「少なくとも、私の目に映る主はお主を好いておるぞ」
B「なーーー……っ！？」
A「蓼食う虫も好きと言う。ましてBは、性質こそ違えど、女としての魅力でCさまに劣るとは、私は思わぬなぁ」
B「適当なことを……お、お前はそうやって場を乱して、き、聞かぬぞ！？ 酔っ払い」

"あなたは適当な(いい加減な)ことを言って、場を乱そうと(わたしを混乱させようと)していますが、わたしはあなたの言うことを聞くつもりはありません。あなたは酔っぱらっているのです"

About this 2 verbs being put together お前はそうやって場を乱して , you translated as "How, how you confuse me," But i don't see any kanji or verb that mean "confuse someone" ?
Hope you can explain it's nuances and implications since Japanese verbs could mean different when using in different context. All i see in this sentence grammar are:
1/そうやって = "You are doing that/ saying that..."
2/場を乱して= "to disturb this place(場)" ?
I'm not native so i can't say for sure

You are doing that talking nonsense

A is saying nonsense. As a result, B becomes confused. B then assumes it's just drunk rambling and tries to end the conversation.

This is how I understand the story, but is it correct?

Please correct me if I'm not understanding the story correctly.


2/場を乱して= "to disturb this place(場)" ?
"ruin the atmosphere" or "spoil the mood"

Do you remember "場の空気を読んで"? In this case, "場(を乱して)" is the same as "場(の空気を読んで)".

It means "the mood" or "the atmosphere". And "場を乱す" is "ruin the atmosphere" or "spoil the mood".

These words are generally meaning to make people uncomfortable. But I felt that B was confused, but not uncomfortable. And I said "how you confuse me".

If B feels uncomfortable, she should say "やめろ：Stop it" instead of "聞かぬ：I won't listen".
