Honestly, it's always been sort of easy for me to remember when a year has passed. I've never confused it to be the year that has passed before. At least, to my knowledge I haven't.

I have to keep a calendar in front of me on my desk to even know what day it is , LOL. I was born in Jan of 1950 , but my mother labeled all my baby pictures 1949. I wondered why she lied about when I was born , but it was just her forgetting the year had changed.
In the year 2525... (and I'm sure grandpa frank knows this one!!)
