Hi Everyone,

This letter was sent to a Japanese soldier on Iwo Jima during WWII. I'm trying to find out if there is any information on the front that lists the soldier's unit/regiment he served in as well as his name. Any other information including the content of the letter would be interesting to know as well if possible.

After doing more research I believe this soldier was in the 61st Fortress Infantry Unit.

Addressed to TOMITA Miyoshi in the 2720th Division of the Koga-tai (ex Yokosuka).
