Would you afford with the monthly fee of MEXT?

I'm wondering if the allowance gived by the MEXT lets you save some money?
Or they give you just what is need?

That depends on how much they give, and where you're living, and how you're living.

From every MEXT scholarship person I've met, since they seem to pay tuition and such as well, it is more than enough to save a bit each month anywhere you go as long as you make a choice too.
