@ Child Prey the band kyo was talking about was La: Sadies that was the band he was in directly before Dir en grey.

sorry i think i typed it wrong....i ran off mid typing a sentence to print something out....and i lost my train of thought?

i think its ment to say i think u guys r worrying too much....and by that i ment yeah sure he obviously carved those words in himself but i mean....its not like u can die from carving words into ur chest unless u carve them like 4 inches deep or something....if he wanted to do something like kill himself or make some blunt statement by carving "no future" in his chest he would have ended his life already before he even carved the words "no future" in his chest and he wouldnt even be here...

thats just my view on it....maybe u should leave kyos problems to himself? and worry about ur own ****....i mean even if u worry its not like u have any influence in his life unless u knew him personally....

I don't think that's the point of the conversation. I, personaly, don't worry about Kyo becouse I don't know him personaly. although I would be really sad if he would do something stupid if he already had so much **** in his life. But to tell the truth, I don't think that what happened to him was that bad. He dealt with it fine, but in his place. I wouldn't give up on people, I'm an optimist

Yes, maybe we are worrying too much, maybe it's not something that big
but how would you feel if you heard that your idol is having problems?
I know I have got no influence on his life, but I care about him, because, I say again: he's the most important person to me. Don't treat me like I am a crazy fangirl...I indentify with the lyrics he write, and with things he says in interviews, and other things. I want him to feel good for Dir en grey comes to play in South America!!!

i agree....i think kyo handles his own share of problems very well....and im sure a lot of people can relate to lyrics and all that and care about him and look up to him but kyo is his own person and i think he should be able to make his own choices of what he wants to do and doesnt want to do....so if he wanted to carve stuff in his chest i support kyo...its not that i dont like kyo or i dont look up to him either...i love deg or else i wouldnt have waited in line in the cold for 19+ hours to see them....but if hes ur idol u should support his actions and any path they take....its sorta like when people were like omg deg sucks they changed and stuff and lost fans and all that garbage kyo didnt really care and there will always be deg fans....but yet some die hard fans still stood by degs side...so y not just let kyo do what he wants and stand by his side?

Yes, I'd support him in any path he takes. He can do what he wants. But of course maybe there are things that I don't like, but he can do what he wants to do...

Riyko: yes but does that mean that he never was friends with Kaoru, Shinya, Die before they became Deg? Are they even friends now? I suppose that can also mean that he wasn't friend with Kisaki but then he should have said that he wasn't that close with all of the members or the translator failed miserably.... But the again, as described below, maybe he was the one who, didn't reach out to them, he chose not to be that close, that would make sense. I read soemwhere that when Kyo was sick, had that ear infection, only Kaoru called to check up on him... Ok, I'm not going to speculate abiout their freindship.

I know what I wrote, the whole I believe that he will dies soon thing is a rough thing to say but there is no doubt that the man is capable of commiting suicide, so I suppose that something in his life is keepin him alive, hopefully the music or the people that are involved in his life ex. the other members. When you go through things that are painful you become more sensitive to pain and at the same time become morecold. that is a natural defence system. You don't want to experience that pain again so you shy away from people in order to protect yourself, you even puch away them so incase they want to push away you, they can't because you pushed them away first. He doesn't trust anyone, again, doensn't want to get hurt, he even hates people now. And one can understand that, after all, he is just human and no one wants to get hurt. Its like a burned child, it will avoid fire.
From what you see, and from his lyrics, he is a depressed man, has probably a lot of angst and suffers from nighmares, that's common. And at the same time he sleps a lot because in that way he doesn't have to face people and his angst but the night is unsatisfactory and you wake up more tired than when you went to bed. Those who have issues mostly don't want to share them with others, esp, if you like Kyo, hate people. So even though I would recommend it, he probably wouldn't go to see someone. The reason why you cut yourself is different for different people, what they have incommon is that those who do that have deeper emotional unresolved issues.
Some do it to rele4ase angst, some to feel pain bcuz in their eyes they are bad people who deserve only pain, some believe that scars are beautiful, others to draw atention etc etc. I could go on and on...
Anyway, Hopefully he wont do anything foolish.

Child Prey, I think I could help you with some of your assesments. I may not be Kyo, I may not know him, nor am I ever around him, but I hold alot of things in common with the guy whether I want to admit it or not..I will here though.

I shall have another.''-myself Hatred= a fear ,and because I am only human, they are sometimes people that have hurt me in times past, so I sleep alot. It's a way to escape the trials of reality and be in a world in which is your's to manipulate.

Forms of art; be it writing, draw, singing, wtfever, helps ease any feeling that comes to your mind. Being a writer and a visual artist(drawer,ect), I know that it really helps to know one's self from deep within. I know that sounds corny, but it is true. I just hope he continues to utilize this talent..and that he uses them for the same reasons.

The cutting, sometimes I see it as art..the redness of your blood making your skin look porcelain esque'...It's beautiful, however, the scabs are not...ANYWAYS, most of the time it's because the pain is just exquisite. It feels good when you are at an extreme point of anger or depression. In experience, seeing the look on a person's face when you do it right infront of them is a strangely pleasurable experience but Kyo could be different.

Listen, he is a strong man. His presence proves that..just the way he is. I may analyse him alittle much but he is a good thing to analyse, being human and all, I am curious. Curiousity killed the cat? No. Curiousity makes the cat stronger. Live is but a walk and you trip unto pavement; you get cuts, you bleed, you scar, you heal, you move on, one day you find something to make you happy. Do you understand?

@ Child Prey I'm not sure if he was friends with any of the members or not i'm assuming he'd have to at least get along with them to still be in a band with them to this day. In an interview a read a while back it said that Shinya and Kyo we're the best of friends and always did alot of stuff together.

I never said that he is weak, hell, others would have killed themselves a long time ago. The man has been through hell and he is still standing, that is real strenght and power to me.
I understand, but I don't share that point of view.... I think that it is f***ed up that young people today have to hurt themselves in order to release pain/feel calm or whatever. It shouldn't have to be like that yet it is. And all we can do is bear with it. I know many who hurt them selves and I try to reason with them and make them stop because it hurts me when they are hurt but I know that its just their way of handling their emotions.... There is really nothing one can do. I wished the world was a better place but sadly we live in a nightmare, far worse then any horror movie you might see.

I think that they are friends too, they seem to get along well. Toshiya used to live with Kyo so they probably went out and stuff too. I esp, like Kaoru when it comes to this, he seems so be a bloody good leader!! Good job!!

I read on another forum Shinya, Die and Toshiya hang out alot. DEG seems to be a very close band if they werent they would have disbanded a long time ago.

Some songs do that, they remind you of a certain person, for some reason many songs (mainly sad ones...) remind me of Kyo. Here is one of them.

i think they are all friends. probably the translator meant the band before La:Sadie's, but didn't put that because La:Sadies's and dir en grey are almost exactly the same, you know? and NO BAND can last almost ten years without them being friends.

does anyone have that full interview?? i would like it, please.
