Its time to elect a new world leader. Below is infomation on the three leading candidates:

Candidate A
Associates with crooked politicians, and consults with an astrologist. He had two mistresses, chain smokes and drinks 8 to 10 martinis a day.

Candidate B
He was kicked out of office twice, sleeps until noon, used opium in college and drinks a quart of whiskey every evening.

Candidate C
He is a decorated war hero. He's a vegetarian, doesn't smoke, drinks an occasional beer and never cheated on his wife.

Who would you vote for? The identities of these three (real life) individuals are far below. Do not peep. Cast your vote first.

B) Winston Churchill.
C) Adolf Hitler.

I picked B without reading who they were. I thought he sounded like a cool guy who knew how to live life and have some fun. Getting kicked out of office twice, made me think he was someone who "bucked" the system and wasn't afraid to give his opinion. I didn't think of it as a negative. The sleeping in and drinking...well if you drink that much you gotta sleep it off....

I reject the whole premise of a "world leader", elected or otherwise. That someone could even halfway seriously consider such a thing I find scary.

Lighten up! Jeez, this was just to show you that the character of a person is not just based upon what we "think" are ideal characteristics! It wasn't this persons idea to actually have a world leader! You read way to much into something so simple. We did similar excersises as this in sociology, such as your going into outer space for years, which 5 people out of the 10 do you want to take with you...then they list the people and they all have their advantages and drawbacks.

I beg to differ. I tend to be rather precise and concise. The more typical problem is when people have knee-jerk reactions based on what their uncareful reading of my post causes them to assume I said something I didn't.

Could you point out for me, please, some of my cryptic posts? Since that is my "usual" practice, it should be pretty easy.

Jeeeee whizzzzzzz! Everyone needs to lighten up. Not every thread has to turn into a serious debate. Of course their isn't a world leader duh! I can't believe that everyone can have that little of an imagination.

Hmm the people mentioed are dead. So i think we can take this as a bit of fun, a joke. No one is asking you to pick a world leader in real life, its just a test of values. maybe the ones upset about it are the ones that picked hilter lol
