There are so many clothing shops and brands in Japan, and it is hard to choose what to buy.
I want to know what shops or brand people like. Japanese brand, Amrican brand and Italian brand.. doesn't matter. You can pick up any!

I live just 20 minutes drive from L.L.Beans main store. I get everything there , head to foot. The quality is great and the sales are often half price. They have tons of colors and styles of every type of clothing and footwear and gear to pick from. Best of all, they have a branch in Japan, LOL.

Hmm i dont really prefer one brand. I have alot of different types of clothes. hmm i guess i have a lot of jeans from Daniel Lei also some from Gap, Tommy hillfigure and Levi. hmm shirts wise i just buy what i like haha. But ive also collect many Soccer shirts through the years, from around the world. i use to like Amarni but its too expensive for me now that im a student.

Haha yeah maybe. i dont really shop anywhere exclusively but i do notice that i have alot of certain makes without noticing it. I dont have too many Levi's actually just one pair of jeans that fit me haha. I dont really know any Japanese brands even though i have alot of clothes from Japan, such as Hats, my coat, shirts and my watch as well.
Actually my girl friends cousin makes shirts for a living so sometimes we would send me some cools ones. But ive not had some in a while haha. maybe ill have to mail him and "demand" some haha ^-^

The more you wear Levis , the more it fits to you. that is why i like Levi's.
I think there is japanese clothing shop "UNIQLO" in London. I like them a lot!

We have UNIQLO in manchester too its quite nice there..hmm maybe more for women haha
I noticed too that when i wear my jeans they fit me more but after they are washed they go back to the original size.

I think UNIQLO UK is quite different than UNIQLO JP.
I heard UNIQLO jp is much better..... , but I'm not sure about it.

Are really? I went to one in japan before but actually ive not been to the one in manchester. Now that i think about it...actually alot of japanese people i know use it. I never realised before. I think though that the store in manchester is quite big and in a very busy place so it must be popular. The store in Kouchi though was bigger...so maybe UNIQLO JP is better. One in the big cities much be even bigger then the one in kouchi ne.

Untill really recently i didnt really care about fashion at all and never took pride in my appearance thinking if people dont like the way i dress dont look at me. But now that i try to look nice for my sake I think that kind of opinion is quite immature. So what i mean haha is i have alot to learn about fashion, so its nice to be able to talk about it with someone who understands it better.

When I used to live in Japan, I've been spending a lots of money on clothing. I even used $300 0n just one sneaker!! I think that is because there are many people who care about fashion and so many fashion magazines(more that 100 kinds of fashion magazines) in Japan. Wearng what you like makes me very happy and confident.
however, I live in LA right now, and my fashion is changing to seek for confortable clothing. I currently like simple style of just t-shirts and jeans!!

I think Europian people care about fashion, too, right??

before i used to spend about 240$ everytime on Nike trainers but now i try and buy shoes to match my jeans haha. i still buy nike but not so much now. Before i kind of followed what my friends would wear since i was young and later when i tried to change it was hard for me to do that, i didnt have my own style haha. I never wore jeans ever but now i cant imagine dressing like that anymore.

I think european women love fashion, my sister buys a fashion book every month and we have many different kinds of trends but men are not as fashionable although recently many young men are becoming that way. before it was considered men that were intertesed in fashion were gay but now its more acceptable, still they are called metrosexuals though. I think america has them too and i think also in recent years Japan.

Yeah, especialy in LA, if you are wearing tight t-shirts or pants, people think you are gay! Actually it is kinda true in LA..... Everytime I go back to Japan, most of men in fashion area look gay to me!! I never thoght it when I was in Japan.

Haha yeah. recently alot of men wear pink shirts, carry bags like women and even buy fashion books. When i went to Japan i was surprised that some men even wear makeup and try to be skinny like women.

Or frosty kun haha. I was thinking about it and i think since music has toned down so has peoples fashion. So now Rock isnt as heavy as it used to be so alot of rock fans dont dress the same as before.

I think even though ive never met a gay person from Japan its often hard to tell. I thought matthew (from big hit generation) was gay until recently because o fhis actions and these days men look after their hair more and are cleaner in general.

Yeah, I agree with you, Frost-kun! people in japan donot follow musician's fashion (rock musician)as they used to be. There used to be many people dressng like rock musicians in front of Harajyuku-station in Tokyo. they had theeir hair long and stand to the sky, dyed hair yellow, pink , blue green, and had heavy make-up on thier face.

When i was in Tokyo last (2003) Harajyuku was still pretty hardcore haha and for me shocking. Ill always remember a young women wearing a nurses outfit with fake blood on her arms are mouth. I wondered...where am i? It seemed then that it was more punk then rock.

When i first seen kung fu generation i was surprised as their music is like rock but their image isnt at all. Maybe they are the new face of this generation of rock fans. I know alot of english people are shocked at some music groups from Japan that wear white powder (not drugs funny people ;op), dark eye make up and lipstick like the ones in this video.

Every time I go to Japan I go to UNIQLO. By now I think that most of my clothes are from UNIQLO. I have been thinking if their cheap prices are merely due to underpaid chines textile workers, but I believe that the other more expensive brands are also having their clothes made in China. I think that the only difference is that UNIQLO spends less on advertisement and maybe takes less profit per item.
