Where can I get a good hair cut?

Hi, I just found this forum by accident, but i'm sure glad I found it. Everybody here seems super nice, I hope you guys can help me. I live in Southern California and I am looking for a good Japanese Hair Salon. I've heard of Ability Hair Design and Taka Hair Salon but I don't know which one is better. I would really appreciate your feedback on one of these two, or if you have any other recommendations, I would love to hear from you. I love Japanese hair styles because they are so detailed and I also like the shaggy look. I got one in Kyoto and I loved it, but I can't go to Japan every time I want a haircut so please help me! Thank you

I would think any skilled hair stylist would be able to give you what you want if you describe it very specifically.

yeah, just find a good picture or be very descriptive like what Brooker suggested. Maybe just look into both and see what they've achieved with they're hair cutting, wouldn't hurt to do some research! ^^

I got a haircut today at Taka's Hair Salon after doing a lot of research. So far I'm satisfied but I guess I will find out tomorrow after I wake up with a bed head to see if I'm really impressed or not. Thanks for all your suggestions.
