I live in Slovenia. That is a small country in Europe, but when i'm older i'll probably move to Usa or maybe even Japan. I have to learn Japanese first
I was looking at the poll's result and was quite surprised to see there are almost as many Europeans as Americans! I was born and now live in Switzerland (after an interlude in Italy). I've been twice to Japan, and would love to go back there asap *s*
I'm Canadian. However, if someone were to go back far enough, I am much more; Polish, German, Russian, Swedish/Scandinavian, Icelandic, and a little bit American as well. Damned people at immigration made my Great Grandfather CHANGE our last name! I'm changing it back to the original context though!
I've lived in many different countries including Germany, Japan, Korea, Turkey, and the U.S. I'm a "Global Nomad" I guess. I like to think of myself as a "World Citizen," though..."Many people/one world/one race - Human!"
I'm from Mexico!!...and i hope i can meet a lot of japanese people, and people from around the world too!!...i'm so interested in Japan.. i want to learn everything!!, language, culture, history...so i really hope i can go there and stay at least 1 year!!..that would be so good!!
Wow, I'm very impressed with this forum. We truly have an international body here. It'll be great to hear all of the differnet opinions. Honestly though, too bad we don't have more people from Japan here (at least the poll doesn't say so). It would provide even further insight to our discussions. Oh, and I'm from the USA (but all my friends tell me I should be from Japan or some other east asian country - and I'm caucasian ).
I'm from the United States. Lucky for me, there are a lot of people from all over the world living here in New York. They have a lot of wonderful insights and stories to share about their native countries.
