i was born in the us. and raised mostly in philippines. and now reside in canada

I live in Slovenia. That is a small country in Europe, but when i'm older i'll probably move to Usa or maybe even Japan. I have to learn Japanese first

i am born and bred in malaysia.. the land of few japanese... wish to go to japan someday

I was looking at the poll's result and was quite surprised to see there are almost as many Europeans as Americans! I was born and now live in Switzerland (after an interlude in Italy). I've been twice to Japan, and would love to go back there asap *s*

oh why would that surprise you? there are as much Europeans on the globe as Americans, not that it matters offcourse ;-)

To keep on topic: I am from Belgium, always lived here, been at many places, but not Japan yet :-(

with a bit of luck I am visiting the aichi world expo at the beginning of August

I'm Canadian. However, if someone were to go back far enough, I am much more; Polish, German, Russian, Swedish/Scandinavian, Icelandic, and a little bit American as well. Damned people at immigration made my Great Grandfather CHANGE our last name! I'm changing it back to the original context though!

Just a regular american here...But I'm living in Yokosuka, Japan for the next two years

From the UK - Stoke-on-Trent in England to be more precise. It's where pottery was invented.

What year, roughly, was pottery invented ? Do you have a link or a key word for the pottery ?

Hi
Well, i'm from Poland Yes, that strange country with stupid politics and lots of alcohol ^^

I've lived in many different countries including Germany, Japan, Korea, Turkey, and the U.S. I'm a "Global Nomad" I guess. I like to think of myself as a "World Citizen," though..."Many people/one world/one race - Human!"

heloo,...

i am from indonesia.. wish i could go to japan somedays.. IoI

Hi everyone!
I live in Russia. Should I choose "Other"? Since my country is not in Europe. Nor it is in Asia.. hehe

Wow, I'm very impressed with this forum. We truly have an international body here. It'll be great to hear all of the differnet opinions. Honestly though, too bad we don't have more people from Japan here (at least the poll doesn't say so). It would provide even further insight to our discussions. Oh, and I'm from the USA (but all my friends tell me I should be from Japan or some other east asian country - and I'm caucasian ).

I'm from the United States. Lucky for me, there are a lot of people from all over the world living here in New York. They have a lot of wonderful insights and stories to share about their native countries.

Originally, from my mo.. "cough" "cough"!

Me from an island called Japan , living in Florida at the moment. Not many Japanese in this forum? So that makes me a rare item then.

I was being a bit cheeky. Stoke-on-Trent is very famous for its pottery, like Royal Doulton and Wedgwood. But we didn't really invent it!

i am from shenzhen city of china.
