Chinese TV shows originated from famous Chinese martial art novels

the best thing for me!!!

just want to say something about it,although I don't know if anyone is interested in knowing it.

most of the stories the theme were set at hundreds and thousands of years ago.

complicated stories,touching stories,good and evil,love and hate.
lots of fighting, but the stories are not just pure fighting, not just pure violent.
those people could jump very high, walk on water, energy blasts, sword fights.
different styles of martial arts, like Shaolin (the monks),Ngoh Mei (the nuns),Mo Dong, the triad of beggars,cults,assassins..many more

by reading those novels or seeing those TV dramas,
you will understand the minds and culture of Chinese people more,
see what 'love' means to Chinese and how we show different kinds of love.
see what 'loyal' means to us,loyal to our friends, lovers, teachers (probably the kung fu teachers) or sometimes, the masters.

actually I think there are some English translations of those novels,so if you are interested in those novels, maybe order them online or something,
the most famous author is Louis Cha,
most (maybe all) of his works have been made to become TV dramas a couple of times and all guarantees high TV ratings

oh they should do everything to help spread the popularity of Chinese dramas !

now at 8pm they show one of my all-time favourite series 'Chor Lau Heung'
it is a story about the number one thief Chor Lau Heung,a martial art master Lee Cham Foon taught him Siu Lee Fei Do (little Lee flying knifes) ,and Chor wants to find out about his past, and on his journey, everywhere he went he brought lots of misfortunes to the people, many of his friends were killed by evil bastards.
this show has lots of comedies when the people are not serious (when not fighting,...ect),so the audience won't feel gloomy watching the show, but still makes the audience feel sad and wants the good people to kill the evil bastards:auch: :box:

in these novels, the main characters always have a sad life,
but they would have lots of friends and lovers who would live and die for them
