whats your best physical attribute?

My eyes. Or my noggin.

If you can't find something attractive about yourself, keep looking. Because I'm sure there are lots of things attractive about you but you don't notice. There are a million attractive things, on the outside and inside - find yours and play them up. It's easy to be your own worst critic. Alot depends upon your mentality - if you concentrate on what you think is attractive about yourself instead of the negative stuff, then people are more likely to find you attractive. Listening to some of those supermodels talk about themselves for instance would make you think they're hideously ugly - it's alot your state of mind. If you have something different than what's typically considered attractive, play it up rather than thinking it's unattractive. That's my advice for the day. Now I will shut up because I don't like giving advice. I learned everything I know from Jarvis, lol. Not really but he knows everything.

I didn't mean to interupt the flow of this thread, I was just trying to be encouraging to Doc. Sir Ian McKellen once said that it's too bad when young people don't realize their attractiveness, now he thinks he was pretty cute back then. (paraphrasing like mad there) I had alot of negativity when growing up and even now, I have to catch myself sometimes before I get started on a downward negativity spiral. And that's just stinkin' thinkin'!

So, in the spirit of starting it up again I'll offer another attractive feature of mine:

my toes - and the hair on my big toes is so cute!

Aww... thank you so much to whoever it was who said they thought my eyes were nice :-) I think I tend to look mad, but hey, whatever... 😊

In the spirit of positive thinking which is now generated, prompting a reconsider, I can say that I like my hands. :-)

i think its nice that a lot of people like their own eyes, because most people stare at your eyes when engaging in a conversation, so its good to have nice eyes.

Or ones like mine... that mesmerize............   .............. Mwahahahahahaha! :devilish:

haha, i like those folk that have crazy eyes, makes for an entertaining conversation.

Trust me Limonette there's not one physical attribute that is good about me. If there was I wouldn't have had to go through 13 years of hell. I appreciate you trying to cheer me up, I really do. I just don't find anything physically attractive about me.

Doc 🙂

Those 13 years of hell must of built some character Doc, and that can be very attractive. Who needs a perfect body/perfect face? In fact, when I see a very handsome guy I assume he's not attractive to me. He has to prove it by having good inner qualities. I pity the poor good looking people of the world! :)

I totally agree with you. Except the "he" part needs a face lift by an (s). Especially the last sentence.

My sister used to work in fashion business and she got to hear about the modeling profession. To have a "perfect body" and "unique features" might sound glamourous, but professional models often feel isolated and discriminated by their "good looks." Seriously some people would avoid them because they might think they don't have good enough looks to mingle with them, or some people would write them off as "bim-bos" who have nothing but "good looks to sell."

They might have to work so much hard-er to prove their worth besides the good looks. I read one article by ..forgot her name.. who said modelling isn't about partying all the time but hard work. One reason why certain celebrities are active in charity work could reflect their isolation, and the hightened sensitivity to the suffering of another being.

Yes I've heard famous and beautiful people complain that people feel they're unapproachable. No one asks them for dates. So I try and cut them some slack and not give bad vibes. I just don't want to date one. LOL jk

I'm too quirky and boring to have character. I always sense an uneasy vibe when I'm around people, as if they are apprehensive to be around me. I seriously can't find one physical or personality trait that is attractive about me. I just consider myself one of those guys that tend to blend in the background that nobody ever notices, except for the physical defect of course. Meh, now you got me going down the road of pessimism, and there's no going back. Maybe we should keep me out of the spotlight before this gets ugly.

How about we discuss what physically or personality trait(s) attracts us the most when we meet a person instead? For me I'm always about the personality (although physical appearances are nice), and find intelligence, sophistication, maturity, independence, knowledge of one's limitations, fun factor, humor, and kindness to be the best attractions in a personality. There's more, but I'd have to stop and think about them. As for any physical appearances I find eyes to be the best, especially people who have dark blue eyes which I find the most beautiful of all.:-)

I'm sure there are plenty of people here who feel the same way - I know I do. Isn't that one reason we spend so much time online? :p

Well there are a lot of people here who feel different. Just look at all your rep points if you don't believe it!

How about we tell our favourite personality points about ourselves - I'll start a thread, but you have to promise to find one to post!

Here's that thread: What's your best personality trait?

well, i don`t know either :D
Beautiful people are often misjudged and treated like pretty b**ch or handsome j**k, but many of them have a big heart and great mind? but how many can step over crowd`s stereotypes and see not just supermodel but also personality behind?

Besides "beautiful" is so relative. What i might find handsome other maight claim as average and even bad looking * shrugs *

Rich I wouldnt mind seeing the Tonka truck bench press either hahah.

It's not easy, I can tell you.
I have to warm up by running to the kitchen and back, and doing at least half a press up.
Only then can I begin my gravity defying display of strength.
Sometimes I wear one of those leopard skin strongman leotards for added effect.

Please do not attempt this at home.

Lol Doc for some reason you make me smile, like a sad but funny sad sack. Trying to cheer you up seems to have the opposite effect. :)

When people see me coming they cross over to the other side of the street. :D Maybe we should start a secret society for mutants.

Good points Void. It's best to try not to pre-judge good looking people either. I agree beauty is very relative. Sometimes I don't think someone is good looking at all until I've known them a while too, then suddenly they're better looking.

Lex - you're in. Now just go to the class to find out if you're a superhero or a sidekick. (and you guys thought you had escaped superficiality but no - more discrimination awaits there) :D Then you can decide whether to become a good mutant, a bad mutant or an indecisive one. :? :devilish: 😇

Oh and I was just kidding about not wanting to date good looking people. Of course I would date whoever I like regardless of looks. Just to make it clear I was kind of taking lisence for my jokes.

I better say that before I get beat up by all the good looking people at the forum. And judging by the photo thread, there's alot of them. Yikes!
