What's Up

Hey guys!
I recently found out about this website (random searching) and I'm pretty psyched! I'm Gian and I hope you guys can help me learn and master the Japanese language! (i think i can assume my level of Japanese is newly born infant)

PS:
Any recommendations where I should start? I already learned katakana and hiragana and I know some Japanese words and phrases. I browsed the website a bit and most of the phrases in the Japanese phrases, greetings,etc. section required some kanji. Should I study the kanji first?

I wouldn't say you should study kanji first, although some people do, but you should definitely learn them along with the basics you're going to study.
A lot of textbooks use Hiragana above the kanji, so even if you don't know them yet, you'll be able to read them and slowly remember them.
Learning kanji can be a lot of fun, but if you stop practicing them regularly, then you'll forget them very quickly.
Happened to me, happens to all my Japanese friends, co-workers and students! ^-^; ...

Hey guys, Thanks so much for the replies and these references. I'm starting to get used to reading sentences (kana.) and maybe soon, I'll be able to read them as fast as I read english.
