Also, I think that it's common for people to close their eyes when concentrating on something intensely or trying to immerse themselves in a situation. I would imagine that kissing would be one of those situations.

im not telling how to do anything. you asked a question and i answered it. i dont make up the rules, its just what youre meant to do, or rather its the polite thing to do. most people on the forum will agree. i never said anything about your kissing ability nor do i care. i also dont need to know anything about your sex life. what exactly are you trying to insinuate about me, and thus the rest of us who kiss with our eyes closed, with that comment about the lights?

Yeah, you can sort of put it like that.
For me also, eyes closed. It's kind of weird with your eyes open too. Imagine a group of people watching you kiss, and your eyes are open, it makes them wonder if you're in deep shock, or feel no sense of passion from the kiss. Rather than a dream, it's just a daydream when you have your eyes open.

If you didn't, you would never be able to see if she has her eyes open or not, and you also wouldn't have been able to see if the others had their eyes open or not, because you wouldn't have been able to see it if you had your eyes closed.
So, if you keep the eyes open yourself, why would it shock you to see if the girl keeps her eyes open as well?
