I thought it might be interesting to start a post where the member details what they do on a daily/weekly/monthly basis. I don't know that there are any other posts like it, but excuse me if there are.

Please try and be as detailed with your response as you can!

I live in Orlando, Florida, near downtown Orlando, in a decent neighborhood. My sleep schedule is very strange, sometimes I am up until the sun comes up and sometimes I sleep during the daytime. It is a very lazy time for me, so I am trying to excercise / get out as much as possible. I ride my bike to the Barnes and Nobles bookstore to take my Japanese lesson with Hisa-sensei (Heather) in the cafe... Next lesson, relative clauses and counters!

I work at the Ben & Jerrys on I-Drive. Sometimes I get to practice my Japanese with tourists, because I-Drive is close to Disney World. I don't drive, so I take a long bus ride where I play my PSP or DS.

Other than that, I go with my girlfriend and her dog to the dog park sometimes, where her dog runs around and socialize.

Sometimes my friends come over and we hang out, or go and get something to eat. Mostly we just listen to music and play video games.

My little brother who lives with my dad comes over, and he and I share turns playing video games into the late night. He's playing Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion for the first time.

I play FFXI a lot, and like being in Japanese parties/talking to Japanese people. My main jobs are Samurai and Beastmaster.

It rains a lot here in Florida, and one of my favorite things to do on warm rainy nights is to read a book on the porch and smell the rain. :smoke:

How about you?

Tomorrow is Saturday, and that usually means I go somewhere form 10 am to 5:30 pm.

I wake up, possibly take a shower if I didn't the night before. Brush hair, brush teeth, etc....and then go eat breakfast. If I'm at my friends house, we'll wake up, eat breakfast, and then wait for her grandpa to wake up so he can drive us to where we need to go. (there are three of us)

We're at this card shop from about 10 am to noon, and then we head off for lunch. I usually carpool with people, actually almost everyone carpools. After lunch, we hop over to the public library. We're in a conference room from about 12:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Then i usually carpool again back home.

What i do varies a great deal from day to day, but my morning, afternoon and night time regime is pretty much the same.
Morning regime: After waking up and getting dressed and tying my hair up, i go downstairs and put the kettle on and then turn on my fish tank lights and feed the fish. Once fish feeding is down and tea is made, i then go back upstairs to the smoking room and have a rolly with my tea. Then afterwards that i go on the computer for a short bit to check my email or forums etc and then brush my teeth, wash my face and do my makeup, and sort out my hair properly and start the day properly :) .
Afternoon regime: Decide with my guy what we're going to eat for supper while he pops into the supermarket on his way back from work. Once we've decided what to eat and he's bought the ingredients, he comes back from work and has a snack and then we go for a cup of tea and a rolly together and chat about our day together and then after that i make a start on cooking, and then after that we eat.
Nighttime regime: after eating and finishing up whatever we have left to do for the day, we chill out with some drinks and rollys together and have fun. Eventually, we brush our teeth and wash our faces and prepare for bed and then go to sleep together :) .

Inbetween morning, afternoon and night time regimes my day is filled up with work of various sorts, like artwork and jewelry making, and tidying up the house etc. I meet up with friends regularly and at the weekends me and my guy find something interesting or important to do together, like going out shopping or working on the house and garden or going down to the pub or to the cinema to see a movie or catch up with family etc 👍 .

Usually, I wake up, take my breakfast, brush my teeths, bush a bit my hair and then sit down in front of the computer. In the afternoon, I usually go take a walk in the village streets and try to find stuff to do. Usually, I cannot find anything to do so I stay in front of the computer the entire day.

This next week, I will go to Quebec City. My routine will change a little bit. I will wake up, take my breakfast, brush my teeths and hair and then I'll go visit the city. Sometimes I will take the bus and go to the downtown for doing interesting stuff and maybe I will do activities with my grandmother, I will see...

In the evening, I usually watch TV and I'm going to the bed at 2h00 AM after having brushed my teeths and washed myself in the bath.

Hmm, let's see:

Weekdays: Wake up around 4 a.m., go online, check my email, surf the net until 5:15, shower, dress, leave for work around 5:45. Arrive at the office around 6:15, have a bowl of cereal for breakfast before starting the day's labors, around noon, go for a walk before lunch, resume working until 3 p.m., return home, open mail, relax until 5:30, turn on the TV when PTI (Pardon The Interruption) comes on and spend the rest of the night watching TV, anime or movies, go to bed around 11.

Saturdays: Wake up around 4 a.m., go online, check my email, surf the net until 7, shower, dress, have breakfast, read newspaper or goof off on computer, around 10, travel somewhere for the day, usually to a mall, return around 5, open mail, turn on TV about 6, spend rest of evening on couch, go to bed around 11.

Sundays: Wake up around 4 a.m., go online, check my email, surf the net until 7, shower, dress, make out grocery list, go to supermarket, have breakfast after getting back, do household chores, finish around 10 or 11, relax with newspaper or goof off on computer, September through January, watch football, February through August, go to movies or baseball games, watch TV until 11, go to bed.

WOW!! Mighty thrilling existence I lead, huh? Yep, I'm just a wild and crazy guy!

:D

This week is not going to involve much for Probably some swimming, go to some tourist attractions, and take pictures of the lovely mountains. But I'm so looking forward to this, because so far this summer, i haven't done much more than hang out with freinds a few times and surf the computer for a good few hours.

HOORAY VACATION TIME!!!!

My routine is going to work 8:30-17:00 Monday to Friday. Sometimes these times vary a bit if I have to work longer or travel somewhere or take some time off for whatever reason.

I usually get up at 7 on weekdays in order to arrive at work at 8:30. I don't think I have any other routines, though - things are too variable, I don't even have a time I go to bed...

A routine that's supposed to happen is my partner works away on Mondays and Tuesdays, but recently he has even been changing this to different days to accommodate other appointments...

On the weekdays, I wake up at around 7:30 am and take the subway to work. Well, it's more like volunteering since I'm not getting paid, but that's okay. I'm working in a lab helping by boss with his research on cancer. I work until 2:30-3:00 pm depending on the kind of stuff I have to do. The train ride back is about an hour, and after the train crash in May, the trains have been running really slowly. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I have my MCAT class from 6:30-9:30 pm, so I shower, eat dinner, and get on the train to my class. When I don't have class, I surf the internet for a little while and then start working on MCAT homework.

Dinner is at around 7:00 ish. Afterwards I surf the web and then go to bed.

Since I'm in Boston right now, I've been trying to sight see over the weekends. I try to go one place every weekend. I love the train because it's so convenient and you can get to almost anywhere. I want to go to the New England Aquarium this weekend.

I really need to put exercise back into my routine. It's been so long and I'm really out of shape.

Same ol , same ol..............

Same here... 😌

Since I work on my PC, "work" and "JREF" take place mostly during the same hours!

I don't understand... you eat only before sleeping? I don't know on which planet you live but on Earth we take our breakfast in the morning, we lunch and we eat again in the evening. Depending on which country we live, we eat at the beginning of the evening or before sleeping. In Canada, people eat at the beginnin of the evening and in France people eat late in the evening, sometimes before sleeping.

lol

Alarm start ringing at 6am, I keep boozing it until 7 am. Then realize I've to hurry up and take a quick shower, dress and come to check forums and comedy daily web comics.
At 8am I leave home, arrive at work by 9am. (I read a lot here)
Lunch break around 12:30, usually eat with colleagues at my college (which is nearby my workplace)
Work until 6pm/7pm(/9pm sometimes). Pack up, go to college.
Work on my college project, break for dinner.
Leave at 11pm/11:30 pm and arrive at home at midnight/1am. (Also read a lot here)
Check forums and web comics.
Sleep.
Start all over again.

Weekends: Pretty random really. No wake times, no job.

Wake up....shower, brush teeth, get dressed, have a cup of coffee, check out my e/mail, pet the dogs/cats, go to work.....come home, take a shower and complain about work, pet dogs/cats, chat with husband....make dinner, eat some snacks, read my e/mail go to bed. Then on my days off it's the same minus work, but add horseback riding and perhaps a beer! :)

It's nice to see most of you are as boring as me LOL!

I work Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays in the timetabling department of a university. On those days I wake up around 7am and leave the house around 8:30am, to arrive in the office a little before 9am. I take lunch at 1pm, which I always spend online, and leave the office just after 5pm. I walk half way home (about 40 minutes), where I get picked up for the rest of the journey. I arrive home just before 6pm.

On Wednesdays I wake at 7am and go to the supermarket, then come home and do all my chores: laundry, dusting, hoovering, cleaning etc. If there's any time left before dinner I'll go online or play games for a while.

Fridays and Saturdays are my lazy days. I get up a bit later, maybe 8am. If there's laundry I will do that, but I mainly sit around online or playing games most of the day. I might go into town and do a bit of shopping or go to the library.

On any of those days I've usually cooked and eaten dinner by 7pm. I then watch TV for an hour and usually play video games until about 10 or 10:30pm, take a bath and then go to bed. If I'm not especially tired I will read for a bit.

On Sundays I always change the bed sheets in the morning, laze around until late afternoon and then go to my parents for tea. I'm home again by 6:30pm, when it's more of the usual lazing around until the whole cycle begins again :p

At home:My alarm clock rings at 6:30 am, I ignore it and go back to sleep. I wake a hour later, and realise I have to hurry or I'm going to be late. I go to the bathroom, brush my teeth, go back to my room, pack my bag and put my clothes on, then rush out and run to the nearest bus stop.
At school: I use the time before the lessons start by talking with my buddies, mostly about totally random, sick things. During lessons my friend Eve tries to disturb me, but I usually study or focus in what the teacher says. In math I usually have to help Eve too. School usually lasts for 6-7 hours, then I take the bus home if I don't go to the library before that.
At home: I do some chores, eat and then go to the computer. I'm on it for about 3 hours, then go to my room, read, draw or do schoolwork all the way til 3 am, then go to sleep for a few hours. Rinse repeat, rinse repeat.

On weekends, I just usually sleep really much and then go to the computer. In the evening I eat lots of candy and go to the sauna. I go to sleep early.

My life varies so wildly from one day to the next that even I, with my myriad of abilities and bloated ego, cannot keep track of it. However, I will say that every day I do try to drink at least one Cherry Coke. I believe that habit started somewhere close to five years ago and I don't intend to break it any time soon.😌

Morning: Try to wake up early, but sleep until about an hour before my classes start (taking summer classes, so no exceptions for summer). Brush my teeth and stuff, and drive out to UW (the REAL Seattle UW, not those Tacoma and Bothell knockoffs). Eat breakfast if I have time.

I have class until about 2:40 each day this quarter, so I do that, sometimes surfing the net while I'm in class (with class notes being on the internets... hard to resist the temptation to open up another tab and surf). Usually hang around the campus until about 5:00 to work on homework or study. Though that can get much, much later when I have CS classes (which would be the rest of the year).

Other than that, typical nerd activities like surfing the web, IMing people, programming, and video games.

On the weekends, I usually head out to Uwajimaya, an grocery store focused on Japanese and other Asian foods. Connected to it is a branch of Kinokuniya (bookstore based in Shinjuku)

Speaking of Kinokuniya, I also like logic puzzles (i.e. sudoku, kakuro, picross) and improving my Japanese. :P

That's funny, I remember going to Kinokuniya in New York and buying some childrens books to translate when I was first starting to learn Japanese.

Apparently the only US branches of Kinokuniya are Seattle and New York.

The one in Seattle has Japanese/English/Chinese anime and manga, kid's books, music, and some general Japanese/English books.

I mainly go for aforementioned sudoku/puzzle books, JLPT prep stuff, and books on the character of the Japanese people.

books on the character of the Japanese people.

I've some book reccomendations, but I don't know if you're better read in the subject then I am. If you're low to advanced, PM me or something.
