It is getting warm out and soon will be a good time for a barbecue. I just had my first one for this year last weekend with halved chicken and corn.

What is your favorite food to cook on a grill?

Kalbi marinated beef
salmon
clams
mushrooms

My friends and I used to have BBQs all the time. But now I work on the weekends and get home late. I'll have to find a way to make it happen this summer.

Brooker,
All of those sound so good except the mushrooms; I like small common button mushrooms on shish kebabs but can't eat big kinds like portobello.
Salmon is what I usually have for breakfast when I go camping, gets smoky on the outside from the direct fire and very tasty.

What about Shitake? They're pretty expensive here, but great on the grill.

I grill year round, about twice a week. I love to cook steak, pork chops, pork ribs, salmon, most any type of fish, corn, potatoes...but pork chops are definitely a favorite of mine!

We've been getting out the grill for a few weeks now. I also love mushrooms on the grill. I have a mushroom, onion, bell pepper, pineapple combination that I marinate and grill. It's so good. Other favorites are corn on the cob, steak(ribeyes), pork chops, ribs, chicken, salmon, and especially hamburgers!

It's breakfast time here in Southern California, and I just had some gooooood Oden.

Oh yeah, the grill... Carne asada mostly. Pollo asado is good too!

What are they?

Extremely delicious! If you live in Southern Cali, or anywhere around Mexico you will find these dishes everywhere~

No, I don't care for them either.

I just searched for carne asada & pollo asada, and they sound great! I have to try those.
Now, you guys got me wonder what kind of sauce and spices you use for marinating and flavoring. I use 'Dinosaur BBQ sauce', 'Speedy sauce' with more spices in it for marinating. I wish I could make my own BBQ sauce, but I am not ambitious enough.

big fat burgers, steaks, ribs, and portabella caps...good eating. 'Specially the Portabella Caps...makes good meat substitute.

I forgot to put in the poll, but has anyone tried to make a pizza on the grill? I heard it was extremely good.
