What do you think about Arab people ??

I don't like the common practice, as I understand it through the Western media, of homosexual sex between men in Saudi Arabia (and other Muslim-dominated countries) due to lack of normal, healthy access to females.

You should look up "manlove Thursday" sometime.

I have some Arab relatives, and I can speak and write in Arabic (more or less), so I definitely have nothing against Arabs...
Their greatest mathematician (imo), Al-Khwarizmi, gave his name to the word 'algorithm'. He wrote the first book on algebra, Kitab al-Jabr, which is where the term algebra comes from. Arabs introduced zero and the decimal point. Cryptology using frequency analysis, proof by induction, foundations of calculus, spherical trigonometry and non-Euclidean geometry were all attempted first by Arabs.
Don't know which language he wrote in, but Al-Khawarizmi was Persian I think.. actually many great thinkers and scientists of the time were either Persian, or half-Persian. It would be more accurate to speak of the "Arab-Islamic civilization", the two elements (Arab culture and Islam) are so intermingled that it's almost impossible to separate them in most cases...

Who was born in Khawarizm in Persia but he is Arabic,Anyway i don't like to say "We created the Ziro,We created AlJabr,We we we ...!" The Science is not ours or yours,It's for All humans so we should continue not stop and say "We created ..."
in the other hand see what the europeans Scientists Invented ! 👍

I hope Arab Invente new Sciences like before.

That depends on what you mean by "Arab"; personally, I'm pro choice when it comes to the culture of an individual (much like beliefs). People are free to consider themselves part of any culture as long as they satisfy some criteria (speaking the language for example).

Well, I hope the time comes when the "us vs them" mentality will be overcome, and we will be celebrating human creativity as it is without any national or cultural pride involved...

Yes hopefully.
By the way,I don't see any priority with being Arab !

I can see some Arab priorities. Man, give me kibbe and tabbouli and hummos *any* day. :)

Hai,Douzo.....^^

I'm curious. Do Arabs give importance to presentation and aesthetics in their food, as the Japanese do?

I don't know what that food tastes like, but both dishes look delicious.

Mmmm... My aunt used to use pine nuts in her kibbe, too. Mmmm.

Hello;

Well,I'm an Arab girl but not from the middle east but from Africa, particularly Algeria.

Of course, there is nothing wrong with Arabs or non_Arabs,we are all human beings and there is no difference between us.We are so civilized and not terrorists as most people think. We are peace makers,we hate wars and tyranny all over the world.

For using camels ,what's wrong with camels I prefer traveling by camels than cars ,but unfortunately I have never used it before I wish I could. It'll be fun to do so.

Civilization is not measured by technology as much as moral values

I prefer traveling by camels than cars
wait,i disagree
traveling by camels hurt the as$ :D

Ofcourse we are angels....;p

Plus getting ON a camel is an interesting challenge. First time my mom got on one and it started to stand up, she went ***-over-teakettle off the camel and had to start all over again.

And they LOVE to spit. :)

As an Indian person, I dislike the constant staring at each other whenever two or more brown people meet.

Stop ******* looking at me like I'm imaginary.

Where I live,Arabs own everything. It's horrid actually. They treat customers pretty badly, talk about the customers behind their backs or even to their faces in their language. It's disgusting. I hate to be racist but I keep my distance.
Hm. Everyone. Watch THE KINGDOM. A movie released in the U.S about the Middle Eastern people who hate us westerners. If you live in the U.S You'll have a certain hatred for them. Once you watch the movie, you'll understand.

This.

Hard.

The pharmacy I work at does this all the time, and it is annoying as hell.

Good morning sir,

allow me to put a reply to that comment.:-)

I admit that there are some rude Arabs ,uncivilized, and uneducated at all.Our religion is against gossips and this kind of empty talk. But you must bare in mind that not all the fingers are of the same characters. In America there are rude people;all over the world we find good and bad people so it's not a matter of being Arab or non Arab.Believe me once you get into contact with someone who is polite you'll forget about those you've got an experience with.🙂

Mai chan, you're right. There are even some rude Japanese, though they're rare.

Traveling by camel doesn't look very comfortable to me; but I've only seen it in movies, like "Lawrence of Arabia."

Agree. There is no perfect country in this world. Sadly, rude Japanese people are increasing.

By the way, I had a friend from Middle-East in Japan. He was a Muslim but he loved tonkotsu ramen(pork based soup). He told me that it's OK to eat pork cuz he's in Japan and Allah isn't watching him right now. But I heard some Muslim people would throw up when they accidentally ate pork. Where does this difference come from? And I want to know what Muslim people think about Muslims eating pork in non-Arabic nations.

Right, one of my best mates is from Bahrain and while he's a theist, he is not religious. There's a mosque on campus and we were invited to a person's house on the other side of campus and we had to cross right in front of the mosque. We were both carrying quite a bit of booze in nearly transparent Tesco bags. The religious people standing outside all gave him stares, like proper staring as he passed by, hahaha. Anyway, I told him he should have said he's Lebanese, but he said it would be impossible to convince them with his accent. Also, he told me that the folks who always go to the mosque frequently ignore him because they don't see him there.

Well,Do you know Arabic language ? it's strange !
And about KINGDOM the movie,it's very stupid, they picture saudi arabia even worse than Afghanistan,it's sucks...If you have a friend in Saudi Arabia then ask him.
^_*

Kick his as$ ...If he really did.

He is wrong,he must not eat pork...Allah isn't watching him right now ? Lol
Muslim may eat pork or drink alcohol only if he have to,like if he don't eat he is gonna die and so on.
I don't really know where he learned that.
And I want to know what Muslim people think about Muslims eating pork in non-Arabic nations.
They think he is breaking the Islamic rules but he still is muslim,it's up to him ;p

Why are some poeple sensitive to religions ? =_=

By the way, there are some differences between Badu Arab and Arab who live in modern.
badu means Villagers, like Cowboy in the US ^^

Yes there is no perfect country in the world except that of plato "the ideal state"👍

For that man:

It couldn't be,God is every where:?;if the person in Japan or in any other country in the world he must stick to his beliefs and standards.Eating pork😌 is not acceptable at all in Islam and science proved that it has a dab effect on humans. For me,this man is mistaken,he should not eat pork at all.All of us make mistakes and I wish he could correct himself before it's late.🙂

National identity becomes even more apparent against the background of a contrasting culture. The Polish are more Polish in the UK, the Germans more German, the Spanish more Spanish than they are back home. The thing with Arabs is that Arabic culture differs greatly, so the effort required to 'remain Arab' is greater than the effort required to 'remain German'. Some people are very nationality-conscious. I mean differences like how in the UK, in Scotland anyway, it is customary to do 'rounds' in a pub, whereas in Hungary you just buy only your own drink whenever you want and you don't ask for a pint or even a glass because people just drink from bottles. You could insist on smoking a shisha frequently, or spending your time in cafés, but you would derive no benefit from it and bitching about the fact would only make your stay frustrating and bitter. The blokes standing in front of the mosque in uber-traditional clothing in freezing cold weather are the people who never interact with locals or folks from nearby and always ***** about the decaying moral fabric of the country where they're not even forced to remain.

I don't know what science this is or which scientists, but eating shitloads of bacon will make you fat. It is a pleasant process though. I prefer gammon, though. Seriously, pork won't do you so much harm, in comparison to other meats, as you would expect. And unlike chicken, pork has a taste.
