@Mike Cash: I already have but that's what I have had understood from what they've said. "they discourage male applicants", but didn't prohibit. I was pertaining to a nursing program though, not all types of jobs. Anyways, I will clarify this one unto them and will demand acceptable reasons why. It should have been good, free training for nurses even without experience in the medical field. @Cinnabun: Sorry, I can promise you that this would be my last post to your thread..

I think that's great you're putting an effort into this. Seems putting in the effort (despite the outcome) is better than have never tried at all and regretting it later!
