TV drama theme songs

Hi, I am looking for TV drama theme songs, especially those in the 90's, like Love Generation, Long Vacation, Beautiful Life, etc. If anyone knows of a way to either "download" them or "purchase" them, please let me know.

I have bought myself a CD of TV drama theme songs when I was in Hong Kong but the songs are all covered versions (i.e. they are not sung by the original singers) and I am very disappointed....

Hmmm... I'm sure there are probably some compilation CDs of drama themes which would cover this era, though I can't say I know one right off the top of my head. CD Japan's listings are pretty good, so they might be a good place to search around:

Even if you don't end up buying anything from them, they're a good source for info... though IMHO they're as good a place as any to purchase from, reasonable prices and reliable shipping.

Of course, your other option would be to find the individual songs... if you mention the particular shows, I'm sure there are plenty of members here who could ID the theme songs for you and then you could seek the songs individually...

For example, I can't remember Love Generation's theme song but I can help with the other two...

The signature song from Long Vacation was "La.La.La Love Song" by Toshinobu Kubota with Naomi Campbell on backing vocals... believe it or not, this is actually available on a U.S. CD release. Sony Music did some 2-CD compilations celebrating their 100th anniversary IIRC... one of which was "Intenational", which contained Sony hit songs from all over the world. The selection for Japan was this song... I'll post more specific info when I'm in front of that CD.

The main J-Pop theme from Beautiful Life was "Konya tsuki no mieru oka ni" from the group B'z... this one you'd have to get from Japan, but it should be easy to locate.
