Of course, their modification would be far from complete. The babies would also need to have:
-modified sweat glands that produce gigantic sweat that form beside the head
-if a girl, some crippling disability that makes them fall over all the time when they become older so that peers would ostrasize them as being clumsy
-a more varied set of hair coloring, from blue to green to fuschia
-a speech that, when developed later in life, would either be 1) silenced only to be dubbed very poorly by some unknown force, or 2) summon forth words that say exactly what s/he says, only in English. Oftentimes with horrible grammar/spelling mistakes and poor flow.
-if a girl, end up having a horribly stereotypical personality, be it spunkiness, demureness, brash toughness, annoying cuteness, or serious coldness.
-if a boy, either develop to be some hotheaded young pup, or worse... a bishounen!
-the ability to perceive other cliched yet mainstreamed anime/manga archetypes and to adapt them
