( good point...well...i suppose you are right...and i guess it's true sugar inhaling doesn't seem too comfortable...i have seen some of my friends snort pixie sticks...and from the looks on their faces, the experience is far from pleasent... well...we can use duct tape to seal the bags shut...)

(That is most likely true I would imagine :? yea... no one wants me to go into all the stupid things I did when I was a kid... like... swinging from the birdhouse and of course breaking it and falling because it's meant for little birds and not little people... which resulted in a very nasty lip piercing cause I fell face first onto the ground and the on the hook that held the birdcage up just happened to be in the very spot where my face became aquainted with ground... ...but that's the only one I'm saying... cause god knows I could go on forever )

It doesn't sound weird - I do that in the Politics and Economics threads (in fact, anywhere where I feel I'm out of my depth or don't have anything to contribute! ).

Hehe, if you're looking for good conversations, I don't know whether you'd be in the right place... the jpop forum isn't known for the intelligence of its discussions. I think sometimes regular posters in other sections look down on us a bit. I know I personally am guilty of posts consisting mainly of things like "eeeeee! sooo cuuuute!", or "thanks for the pictures!"

And as for the science of stapling, I guess you're right. It doesn't make a very deep injury. Also, because it's using the machine, it's a quick puncture, and they don't hurt so much (like an injection). Plus, staples are really fine (I remember putting my hand on a staple in a piece of wood in class once when I was sawing it up, and I didn't even notice until I'd finished sawing and let go the wood, and there was loads of blood running down my hand and wrist... and the woodwork teacher held it up as an example to the class of what not to do... It really didn't hurt at all... and when I washed it... you couldn't even see the puncture! )

Anyway, some of the older members like it... Mycernius likes some jrock music. And Lastmagi listens to lots of different Japanese music... not just jrock but like jazz and traditional and whatnot...

I guess we don't bother as much with the more "intellectual" sections of the forum... but... what the hell... internet time for me is for fun, not for making my brain smoke. :nuts:
