Someone Loves U or Somebody U Love??

If ever you find yourself in a relationship where the other person digs you, but you're not diggin' them, you'll find that it sucks. It's impossible to fake an interest if you're not feeling it. You end up feeling guilty because your feelings aren't as strong as theirs, but you can't change it. And untimately, you're just biding your time until you break their heart and being dishonest about your feelings all the while. Not a good way to go. And the flipside's no fun either. So I guess I'm just strengthening the case for it having to come from both sides.

I feel the same way. A couple of months ago there was this girl that liked me, and my friend tried to convince me to go out with her, and even though she is not bad looking, I tried to force myself to make an effort, but I couldn't do it. If you are not interested, then there is no point to it.

I have no idea. Love messes you up so bad that pondering about an answer for that now wouldn't help much.
And if I fell in love again I would run for the hills! ! :D

Its so true!! I agonize for days about an answer to these things when i like a girl. I get the advice from like all my friends (this has gotten me into trouble a few times) and Im still yet to have a girlfriend! (this is because all the girls have actually turned out to be really two faced and stuff) so its a good thing as well

I loved a girl with all my heart once (I was 15 I think) but she didn't even notice me then, and I was too much of a coward to take the risk of getting hurt..
2 years later after my love for her died I got to know her, and we became friends. I'm glad I never approached her back then, because she would have ripped my heart out without realizing it herself!
But she is a really good friend and a good person and she has changed a lot since then :haihai:

I couldn't agree more. cus that exact thing happend to me not too long ago.. I broke up after 3 days and I felt terrible about it.
She loved me but I couldn't pretend I loved her back...
I think I did the right thing... :(

love sux

I hate it when people want you just to have a boyfriend/girlfriend...to keep them occupied...my REAL love has yet to come... 😭

a very nice opinion...Brooker I agree!! :-)

Gosh, I would hope that a relationship would spawn out of a mutual attraction (not necessarily physical) for each other...
But, I guess that's an idealistic point of view.

BTW, this thread has raised a question I've often pondered:

What is the difference between infatuation and love? :?

Indeed, a good question. One that I have thought alot too everytime I look at this thread.
It would seem to me that Love is something close to you or at the least actually yours, While infatuation is more a less what you see and can't get or afraid to try and get because looking from a distance is far better then going through the motions of loosing her when you try.

Like i'm infatuated with Mya the R&B singer! whooooooooooooooooooo 😊
