Hope someone as native could explain clearly to me what's the real meaning/ implication of this character's comment. Feels free to correct my mistakes
(my guesses but not sure:
>> "Do you need something from that person ?"
No it's not that I need something from this person" )

Story context: Protagonist 剣丞 has been transported/ isekai (time travel?) back to Sengoku Era , now he became husband of a clan leader girl 久遠. After the clan leader conquered Mino country, the protagonist afraid that a person named 浅井(Azai?) will betray her- according to the history he learnt at high school. Protagonist asked the clan leader to go to meet this person 浅井さん directly to confirm his doubts.

(*Previously the clan leader girl had mentioned her little sister has been married to this person

It means "what's the nature of the business?", (or, colloquially, "why do you want to see him?"
剣丞 then answers, "I don't really have any business as such, it's just that I thought I should meet and give my regards now that I'm your husband".
