Hi
I wonder how much people earn in Japan..
Teachers,Workers,players,...ect

Saudi Friend told me he was living in a hotel in Kobe and he met the worker who cleans the rooms and the ground,He wanted to give him 2000 yen (charity),The worker looked at him like  , after that my friend asked poeple how much that worker earn, the answer shocked him,he said to us " That worker earns 3 tiems more than me or you earn" .

But i still dont know how much the workers earn ?

I hear that their salery for a teacher like between 2Million yen (200,000 dollars) to 4 million yen.

I'm not 100 percent sure on workers, i assume they get paid standered wages on how many hours they work and not by the year. like for a hotel bellboy like 8,000 yen an hour (8 dollars an hour)

You can choose Tokyo for example !
Thanks.

The reason why the worker showed his  attitude to your friend was really simple that Japan is not a tipping country!
I am sure that he cleans your friend's room properly even if he'd get millions of dollars or nothing.

As far as I know, Tokyo is one of or is the most expensive cities to live in, so I would it would be possible that the average salary there would need to be a little higher there for people to afford to live there.
The cost of living has to be considered.
Perhaps a worker in Tokyo does make something like $50,000 U.S. Though that may seem like good money to people living in the U.S., it may seem like only $25,000 for a person in Tokyo.
