room for a catholic and about languege

☝ i'm sorry if this question has been posted before but i couldn't find it

i'm wondering i know that Japan is mostly Shinto and buddisem (please excuse my spelling sorry )

which are both very fasinating religions to learn about

but i was wondering i want to live in Japan but i'm worried when i do

is there places for Catholics to worship easily in Japan (sorry if my questions stupid)

my second question is about languege

i will start to learn Japanese in a couple of weeks but i was worried if a person has dyslexia is it still possible for them to learn japanese properly :?

As far as I know, the answer to both questions is 'yes'.

You can find Catholic places of worship fairly easily in most cities (to be distinguished from town (machi) and village (mura).

The second concern may make things hard, but of course possible--I'd think.

Even in my boondock town we have a Catholic church. There is also a monastery here.

Depending on where you locate, you may even find some churches which say mass in English. At any rate, I am sure you will find the church to be a valuable spiritual/psychological anchor and the people there to be very good about helping you get up and running.

thankyou again being Catholic means a great deal to me i converted myself about six years ago

i was converted by the story of st Titus Brandsma my favourite saint and one of the bravest men in the world in my opinion

i love Japan so much but i was worried it would be difficult to follow my faith there

this comes as very calming news for me

It's very comforting to know you won't be alone and that you'll have a (real life) ready-built support network already in place.

Personally, I'm a devout Atheist, but not of the militant Christian-hating type who feels a personal mission to deprive others of their faith (which seems to be the most common type these days, sad to say).
