Is there really a need for this thread to say:

"Male artists Forum to discuss male solo artists (that also goes for men that dress up like women)."

Who is with me on this?

This is because not everyone can see that some man that dress like woman, are actually a man...

maybe you have a better idea?

Hmm, I just don't see why it needs to be stated.

If it says MALE ARTISTS people should know that they are all males. I go to the Female artists thread and I might think to myself "this girl looks like a guy, all of the Japanese men look prettier than her" but I know it is still a girl because it's under the female section lol. I dont need it to say "that goes for Japanese women who look like men" to figure that out ha.

Only some of the artists wear female clothing. Most of the guys just wear makeup, but they still wear clothing that can be worn by men.

IMO I don't think they are transvestites. I don't see why it is even a big deal for a man, especially an artist, that is in a visual band, to dress up!

I understand so I will discus it with the other team members!
Ok?

Well.
To be honest.
I hate the new jref music section.

Should have just changed the section to ''J-music''

Right, I knew I couldn't get away with that...

Suppose you want me to remove this "and obsessive fangirl/boy behaviour." from the Chit Chat section as well...

okay any reasons why, instead of just giving an opinion

Yeah, I am not very fond of the new layout either.
I probably won't be posting here much longer. Sorry.

haha no not at all twisted! I think that the "obsessive fangirl/boy behaviour" should have had it's own sub-forum strictly for that ha.

Yeah, isn't change a scary thing? :-)

Seriously, nothing much has changed actually. The only difference is that threads about specific artists and bands are now a lot easier to find. What's even better is that the threads don't scroll off the first page within a day, which makes it more likely that someone will respond in those threads.

The Chit Chat section is exactly the same as it was before, minus the threads about specific artists. New users are now less likely to be overwhelmed and regulars can just pick up where they left off.

I like the new layout. It's just as easy to find things, because you know if you're looking for a male, a female, or a band. I think the admins did a great job in adversity, and I take my hat off to them. 👍

I notice that the thing about 'men who dress like women' was taken off... good move... I can see where you were coming from, but it wasn't necessary IMO, plus it gives the forum more of a 'serious' air to not have it. :-)

My reason for leaving isn't completely based on change.

It is based on many reasons, but there is no need for me to go into that.

Good bye.

No not everyone knows, not everyone reads Shoxx, not everyone likes these bands... it was done as a joke, and I know you aren't reading this now as you've started a thread to complain and then leave, but, despite what the Jrock community thinks, these things are not common knowledge...

...I think most people just assume it's all gone the way of crossdressing quote un-quote 'bad boys'.

It doesn't have to be "common knowledge", but entitling the thread headline MALE ARTISTS is sufficient enough ... you don't have to "read Shoxx and like these bands" to know from the very obvious thread title that they're men.

I've never read Shoxx in my life.
99% of the time I hear a band before I see them.
And yes, if I enter a sub-forum called 'male artists' I would presume they were all men.

I am closing the thread, because the titles are changed so there is no discussion about this anymore in here.

When the threads are merged and the J music section is done ( think that will be next week... ) I will be posting a thread in the chit chat section where you can post your opinions etc.

until than you can rant, give your suggestions in the Jpop Forum migration, Jpop (aka Jrock) spill overs or the Jpop vs Jrock.. split it threads.

please give give suggestions things you do like, don´t like etc. 🙂

Thank you, Dave.

I was going to do it if someone else hadn't already.
