Dear native English speakers,
I have a question about the sentence above. It's from the text I used today.
Does it sound fine?
The text:
Do you enjoy a good joke? Do you like to laugh? If you do, you may be
improving your health. Doctors in the United States are studying laughter to
find out if it helps people who are sick. The idea began about twenty years ago,
when doctors saw that people suffering painful sicknesses felt better when they
laughed. One researcher, Clifford Kuhn of the University of Louisville, says that
when people are able to laugh, they feel better. (The rest is omitted.)
