here are two paintings i did for a fair when i was...15?? yeah, 15.

Miyavi! (i messed up a little on his index finger so it looks fat...i accidently left off one of the shadows...)

and Daisuke! this one actually didn't really turn out how i wanted...his hands were REALLY bad, so i cute them out of this picture... but i was sad because it doesn't look as much like him as my other paintings look like their subject... but that's okay...the words in the background are the lyric translations to "Cage" and "Yokan".

i have two others like this, a Kyo and a Tochti one, but i haven't taken pictures of them yet...they were supposed to be part of a series, but i never got around to Shinya or Ka-chan... i'll post Kyo-kun and Totchi later, though...

i did them both for an art fair in my first year of high school...so...i like to tell myself that i've gotten better... i just still can't get over Daisuke's hands... they are so crap! heh heh...i usually just cover them with my hand when i'm looking at the painting...

I finally finished my colour pencil drawing of Karyu. It's pretty crap really, but... well, hey, life goes on!

Next I plan to make j-rockers for set of playing cards... I already have some ideas about who is which character (on the court cards only)... I won't say 'watch this space' though because you might end up watching for a long long time!
(Has that idea been really made, somewhere? It seems like it should have been... by some record company... it would be a good money spinner... :? )
