Since I have a feeling that many of you are extremely talented, can we share our creations?

I make clocks with sculpy(clay that hardens after baking) and give them to my friends.

My first clock, made with scraps found in the house, looks kinda crappy and 8 o'clock fell off...

I sent these ones to my friends in Japan. I'm sorry for the blurry images.

One of my newest clocks.

This one is currently used in my living room.

Thanks for viewing, would you like to share your crafts?

I love your clocks Misa! I especially like the last two. The last one looks like driftwood!

As some of you know, I make and sell jewellery. Here are some pics:

Wow... you are both really talented! Misa J, I love your clocks! They are so different! 👍 Tsuyoiko, cool bracelet there! :-)

Ummm... I paint and draw... but I don't know if I should post my pictures here cos I already put some of them in the gallery and I'd probably be told gallery is the better place for them. But I have an account with DeviantArt and here on this link (click on Deviation Gallery to see thumbnails of all my pics) you can see my pictures: www.kinsao.deviantart.com

:-)

Thanks for your replies, Tsuyoiko and Kinsao!
Let's inspire each other.

Wow Tsuyoiko, you have a huge collection of your jewelry.
They are very pretty and look so natural, not overly decorated.

Kinsao, I'm sorry I could not see your paintings on the link. I must have been doing something wrong...

This thread doesn't limit only for photographs for your art, it is open to any types of art, such as recordings of music, films or anything.

Here are 4 of my pictures... Sorry it is only of portrait/figure, it is what I was recently practicing. :sorry: But I promise not to post any more.

The blue color of those beads is so nice Tsuyoiko! 👍

(faulty, but I ran out of paper! :( )

(with white makeup like geisha... so difficult... :o )
it's hard to see any detail on such small size... there is something more of shading.)

You are very talented Kinsao! I particularly like the second one - the shading is so good! 👍

Why are you sorry Kinsao? Thanks for posting your paintings, they are very impressive.
I always get amazed by people who can draw or paint well because it's so hard for me to fill in the paper with thin lines.

The smoke in the last painting looks so realistic. 👍

Another crafty thing I like is making novelty cakes for family birthdays. My Mum likes quilting, and I just made this for her birthday tomorrow:

Wow, that is a GORGEOUS cake! :liplick: I'm really impressed! 👍

Wow! Tsuyoiko, that is such a beautiful cake!

You are so talented! 👍

wow cool, i like the Clocks,
and the cake looks great, just it look REALLYYYYYYYYYYYY SWEET. was it was it was it was it?

dayummm... you guys are all so talented... i really like all your crafts... tsuyoiko I wonder do u ever work with silver and gold ? Your jewellry really impressed me

Thanks everyone, you made me blush! 😊

@dutch, we didn't eat the cake yet - I'll let you know how good it was! :p

@Duo - I have never worked in gold, but I have used silver. The jewellery here is silver plated though. I prefer the silver look - gold is too 'bling' for me!

Ja i also prefer silver... just shines more and has a nicer feeling... ummmm one question how do u prevent it from getting opaque though... like so it doesn't loose its luster

You're right Duo, silver can get dull. The best thing is to keep it out of the air. And you can buy silver polish in a jar with a little basket to put your jewellery on, and dunk it in there. Hey, maybe I should sell it on my stall?

from my creative days...

This is something I made at college.

It is a kind of alien space probe type thing. It was the star of a short film I made for my final project.

Didn't that used to be your avatar Rich? It's cool - I like the droplets on it. Do you still have the film? I hope you called it something more professional- sounding than 'alien space probe type thing' in your final project!:D :D :D

Most defenitly u should... Keep it away from air.. hmm that sounds difficicult for smth that you wear all the time...guess is best to get sm silver polish 😌

Yes, I used it as my avatar for a while.
The film was simply called 'Probe' and was actually rather daft.
I had the probe stuck on the end of a tripod with the camera looking down it, and I ran around the alleyways of Rochester filming the thing.
I was aiming for a flying effect like that in 'Evil Dead'.

The thin plot of the film was that this probe had come to Earth to find it's master, who was played by someone I knew, wearing his dressing gown and a Fez hat.
Another friend of mine was employed to do a comedy-style double take as the probe flew past his window.
All in all it was good fun to make - I think I still have it on VHS somewhere.

Well with your video-editing skills I'm sure you could convert it to an MPEG or something! 👍

There is an MPEG 1 encoder at my old company. If I get a chance I will transer it.
I should do it anyway, as the VHS will deteriorate.

I would definitely like to see the film, Rich!
It sounds hilarious.

Great Artwork guys! Very talented people we have here.

Happy 230th Marines!!! :D
Semper Fi

Look what I created for MWSS-273 Ball :) This is the 3rd time I created something for a unit I have been in and had it made!

Unfortunately the coin is chrome. The words on the blue part are chrome too. The scanner's light counter colored it.

I knew my talent would come in handy sometime..lol

For my last unit. About 2 1/2 years ago.

I like your probe, Rich! 😊 And, yeah, the film sounds cool - I hope you find someway to upload it!

Wow, great designs Rudel! You're really talented! :p
