I'll start, it's about my hometown Tilburg
In excavations in Russian soil to a depth of 100 meters Russian scientists found remains of copper wires with an estimated age of 1000 years. The Russians concluded from this that their ancestors already had a copper communications 1,000 years ago!
To avoid being left behind, U.S. scientists also excavated their soil when at a depth of about 200 meters they encountered remains of glassfiber. These fibers were found to be 2000 years old, from which the Americans concluded that their ancestors 2,000 years ago had a very advanced digital fiber optic network.
And that over 2000 years before the Russians....
A week later, People from Tilburg published the following report:
In excavations in Tilburg's soil down to a depth of 500 meters, scientists found absolutely nothing. From this they concluded that 5000 years ago the old people from Tilburg already had a wireless network!
