I would have to say that I would like to have a standard mark--a decision on what a grade of '10' would be in this case. Would that be, for example, the speaking ability of the average Japanese national teenager? Or, would that be for a teenager who is learning Japanese in a non-Japanese environment?
I may have to change my vote later, but for now...taking a grade of '10' to the top obtainable level of spoken Japanese that a teenager living in a non-Japanese environment, studying pretty much on their own could do... I give you a. . .
