There are people who practice witchcraft (one word if I'm not mistaken) that aren't even close to being goth...'Tis called "wiccan". 'Tis a religion.
And society doesn't promise anyone anything, unless you're rich, are "hot", and are willing to not have originality, a personality, et cetera.

Korn isn't goth music...Neither are other people/bands out there like Marilyn Manson.
And those kind of people aren't real goths. Besides from a ancient people, a "real" "goth" is kind of also a person who listens to "gothic" or "goth" music and a lot of them don't even wear black even close to all the time, let alone are depressed.
