Live for at least a week homeless, in a foreign country with no money for food or water. Preferably on the beach, it makes for great sunsets, and the pigeons nibble on your toes in the morning.
Honestly it gives you the best time to think about your life, and things you need to change. Also it gives you a great opportunity to meet new people. Some of whom you maybe dont want to meet again, but it is life altering.

Well, forget what I posted earlier about being rich. If you're a music lover and have a favorite band or singer that you absolutely, positively adore, then go ahead and do whatever it takes to see your idol live in concert. That's what I did back in 2003 when I traveled to Japan to see Pink Lady during their reunion tour.
When I was stationed in Japan in 1977-78 and had fallen in love with Mie and Kei, it honestly never occured to me to catch one of their live shows, admittedly, it would've been hard to try, given how busy the Navy kept me, and I regretted missing out on that opportunity then. But when the girls announced their reunion tour twenty-five years later, I moved heaven and earth to go there to see them. I didn't care that I spent nearly three grand on my trip and traveled halfway around the world (never mind the fact that had been the first time I had been on a plane in a dozen years, AND after 9/11 to boot!), nothing would stop me from seeing Pink Lady. Let me tell you, it was an incredible experience, seeing the two singers I loved most in all the world, live and in the flesh. When Mie and Kei came out on stage to thunderous applause that night, I don't mind admitting I almost cried, I was THAT happy! It wound up being an experience I'll never forget.
