Alrighty, so... I'm new.
Right now I'm in front of my lovely lovely computer in some strange house, in some odd town in an odd odd country called Norway (neighbour to Sweden, Denmark and Finland.) *waves*
I guess my love for Japan began creeping around the corner when I got into gaming, but the modern japanese culture didn't really hit me until I started listening to j-rock. (the more traditional japanese culture has always fascinated me too though)
Haven't been to Japan yet, though I'm planning to go sometime in March/April. That reminds me, does anyone know of any j-rock bands (preferably bands/artists like D'espairsray, Gazette, Dir en grey, Miyavi etc) that will be playing live around then? I want to go to a concert SO bad. Us scandinavians obviously get ignored when it comes to music tours...
It's not too surprising though, at the time beeing I'm the only Norwegian person I know who actually listens to j-rock. Perhaps I'll find one or two here.
