Need help badly

Start with a site to teach hiragana and katakana. I used thejapanesepage.com and kanjistep.com. You'll get a (very) small bit of vocabulary through there, and should be able to find resources through those sites to go further--whether it's Clay's 100 Grammar Points at The Japanese Page (he's got about half of them ready), or a list of recommended books that you can try and find at a library if you aren't able to buy them. I actually don't leave the forum here much for the rest of the site, but there's probably stuff here somewhere, also.

Edit: Just noticed your name. Glad to see someone else that likes Nadesico. :p
