Yeah that makes sense considering the discussion that was just made about しに行く。
But I was reading about using 例えば to represent "like say/for example".
and the sentence they gave was:
たとえばタカやワシのような猛禽はくちばしが曲がっている.
Birds of prey, such as the hawk and the eagle, have hooked bills.
たとえばロダンなどそのよい例である. Rodin is a case in point.
明日の夜, たとえば 8 時ごろ来れませんか. Could you come over tomorrow evening, say at 8?
