The object of 選べる is 宿種, not 魅力エリア, and the subject of 選べる is you/customers.

Only if "fit the scene" sounds ok to you. My own TL would be "fit your needs".toritoribe thanks. So how does ga ari fit in?
I have " A magical area where there are various lodgings ranging from stylish pensions to homely dwellings which are chosen to fit the scene"
is this anywhere near right?

大丈夫ならいいでしょう???Obviously a bad example with a not so common usage, although I actually meant it in the sense of もしよければ(同意を求める)not 体調を尋ねる Probably それなら contrasted with とすれば or something would have been a more properly applied for "take to be the case" or "assume to be true without verification or proof" etc.それなら is used when the speaker denies the addressee's previous interpretation and gives his/her new idea. 大丈夫なら doesn't make sense here. 私が士郎を襲い、あなたは抵抗できなかった。大丈夫ならいいでしょう??? The story is completely changed. Thus, the answer is no. The speaker basically says "my explanation should be accepted", as I wrote previously.
It's pronounced ハミッシュ, i.e., Hamish. That's an 当て字, a kind of word play.Hello, I wonder if anyone could help me read and understand the title of the last Kan Mikami (三上寛) album: 馬銜っ主.
If I understand correctly, 馬銜 can be read in two ways: くつわ or はみ, and means 'bit' (as in, the thing they put in horses' mouths, and to which the reins are attached).
主 is more well known of course, 'lord', 'boss', 'chief', 'main', etc. It also has various readings, but judging by the sokuon before it, I'm guessing here it is しゅ.
My guess is that 馬銜っ主 is pronounced くっしゅ, but I would like to be sure, and if someone can offer a decent translation or interpretation of this title, that would be nice as well.
Thank you!
PS. The album I'm referring to is this one: http://www.discogs.com/三上寛-馬銜っ主/release/4199324
お洒落なペンションから家族的な民宿まで様々な宿種があり、シーンに合わせ選べる魅力エリア。makes sense? The two clauses お洒落なペンションから家族的な民宿まで様々な宿種があり and シーンに合わせ選べる both modifies 魅力エリア. Plus 選べる is active potential, not passive, and its subject is you/customers, as I wrote previously.toritoribe thanks. So how does ga ari fit in?

三週間も経ってるから何の話題か最初わかりませんでしたが。。。大丈夫ならいいでしょう???Obviously a bad example with a not so common usage, although I actually meant it in the sense of もしよければ(同意を求める)not 体調を尋ねる Probably それなら contrasted with とすれば or something would have been a more properly applied for "take to be the case" or "assume to be true without verification or proof" etc.
大変お久しぶりですね!三週間も経ってるから何の話題か最初わかりませんでしたが。。。
大丈夫なら can't mean もしよければ(同意を求める) in this context anyway. And again, neither それなら nor 大丈夫なら can work here. It should be それで.
need help with 叱られちゃいます.
i'm not sure what the cha is for.
Contractions in Japanesethanks, i never would have figured that out. are there any goods for that kind of info or is it just something you pick up from being there?
