好きだの何だの言ってみせる is similar to 好きとか何とか言ってみせる.
～てみせる
見せる（みせる）の意味 - goo国語辞書
"好きだの何だの言って見せたり", "優しくしたり" and "気ィ（＝気を）使ったり" are the examples of 面倒な事.
そういう面倒な事抜きで: without these hassles
ヤれる is the potential form of a slang やる "to have sex".

After being sent a letter from a pen pal in Japan I need to write back. Since their English is a lot more advanced then my Japanese I will find this difficult. I am currently learning Japanese but I don't have enough knowledge to write back. I also only know how to write hiragana :/ I understand if no one can help. Ty

Are you talking also in this sense about "nandakanda" ? It seems closest, but with me "nanda" is always a big mistake. This or that, somehow or other etc ?

No, ～だの何だの is a set phrase, meaning "～ or something/or like that". なんだかんだ言う is used more likely for complaint. They are completely different.
So... I have no idea if this sentence even makes sense. I heard it while watching an Anime and I can't seem to translate it myself.
I may have heard it wrong... not sure. The sentence is:
"Haha Haro moshi Chikyū"
It's confusing to me, so... yeah... I don't know. Maybe I just heard it wrong.

I kno :emoji_stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: As I said its my last question :emoji_stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: I have already written some. I am scared to send the letter back with my efforts as my Japanese is really basic. My teacher won't help me translate anything so I don't really have anywhere left to go. I also have no understanding of Japanese slang, Kanji or katakana. And to answer your question no I am not going to use interpreters. I have not been learning for very long and already from this I have learnt a lot. So I am learning. Also this is pointing me in the right direction and by next time I should be able to reply without help :emoji_stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: Sorry for the trouble :emoji_stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Then, why don't you post it here and ask to correct it instead of just asking to translate? I think it's far better to send your own Japanese sentence to them than to send OUR translation, even if you are not so confident with your Japanese.;-)

その例も否定的なニュアンスを帯びているのでは？それ が「なんだかんだ言う」と「～とか何とか言う」の用法 の違いですから。
