前みたく: 前みたいに(young people's dialect)
向こう: 相手(probably "he" in this case)
Where is the point you can't understand?
Wow those online translators aren't worth it at all.

So, here is the sentence : 人間のたれ流した有毒ガスで地球がすげえ暑くなって
I have problems with 人間のたれ
My trying : Because of toxic gaz made and floated by humans, the Earth is incrediby way hotter than before.
So, can we replace the 人間の by 人間に ?
Discharged by humans?
:?
Right. あきもせず means あきないで. This あき is the -masu stem of 飽きる, and can be considered a nounal usage(so あきるもせず is wrong;-)).Hey guys, what does あきもせず mean? Can't seem to find an explanation via google, is it sort of like doing something without getting bored or tired of it? あき(る)もせず?
Thanks

Hello,
I am working on a t-shirt design and would like some help to get the correct Japanese letters for the phrase I want.
First I should say that this t-shirt has a spiritual meaning for me, and it is important to get the wording correct.
6 years ago I had the worst family and business crisis that I could have ever imagined. But after a struggle for both, my family is better than ever, and my business is doing great.
Throughout the rebuilding effort, I learned not to fear, to overcome obstacles, and move forward without stopping.
This shirt is a tribute to anyone that has had to go through a bad time in their life, slaying their demons.
I do not have enough posts to place a URL in this post, but the sketch for the t-shirt can be found on photobucket, then search the user "GreatAsp", the first photo will be the artwork in progress.
The name of the t-shirt will be:
DESTROY YOUR DEMONS!!!
(and this is the phrase I need translated)
I would like to split the words or characters up so that some of the letters in Japanese are above the Samurai, and some are below (see the red areas I show). But I am afraid that the meaning may be lost if I split the characters into two groups.
I am hoping the people in this forum can help me, to get the wording right.
If needed, my email is (please contact me here by PM-private message)
Thanks for all the help!
Eric
It completely depends on the context. Both are possible.Today I heard (in anime) "Nani mono da? kisama"
the subtitles said "Who are you?"
But my brains tells me "What kind of person are you?"
are my brains right? :emoji_flushed:
one thing I do know already, it is a very rude sentence and I am not planning to use it when I talk to other people :emoji_angel:
1)Hi everyone!
I was reading the brand concept of a brand called "sword fish" and I came across some vocabulary I didn't understand/can't find in dictionaries...
1. What does 少ながらず mean?? From the context, I'm guessing it means 多少, but I'm not sure...
「ただし、この映画が表現した世界観に少ながらずインスパイアされています。」
2. What does らしからぬ mean?
「将来はファションの粋を超え、多目的な表現方法でSWORD FISHが動き出す可能性があり得る為、ファションブランドらしからぬネーミングの裏にはそういった将来への予見を含まれています。
3. What does さる mean? (I learned that it means "to leave" or "send away" but I don't see how that fits into this sentence)
「新しいコレクションの内容もさることながら、今後のSWORD FISHの展開にも是非ご注目いただきたいと願っております。」
よろしくお願いします!
How about this?
内なる魔物を滅ぼせ!!![Uchinaru mamono o horobose!!!]
(literally, "Destroy/Defeat monster(s) inside you!")
The meaning isn't changed if split at suitable point like below.
内なる魔物を
滅ぼせ!!!
俺の上で跪け is more likely "Kneel on me!"So, my question: 俺の上で跪け
Isn't 上で be replaced by 前に?
-> Kneel before the great me.
Or I'm mistaken?
Google search suggests the book title is a parody for a game title 俺の下であがけ or "Struggle under me!"Seems very weird... for a book's title...

ビジュアル 源氏物語 第1巻 桐壺 「光る君」の誕生。その光と影Hey I got another book if you could please. All I got is Tale of Genji Trail. Looking at it reminds me of a comic. I dont know? Thanks I tried googling it but couldnt find anything.
Isn't it ずうずうしい or "impudent"?Hello again, can anyone tell me what ずーずーし means? Doesn't come up in my 擬音語・擬態語 book. Is it something to do with coldness? Then again I'm just saying that because it sounds similar to 涼しい![]()
