(She misread your kindness as an attempt at romance....?)Damicci said:Well a bit of history is we were at theatres again and she was cold so i put my arms around her and then after a while she just jumped up I asked was she ok and she said yeah then just kinda sat away from me.
So I thought I did something wrong and things got a lil weird. well she told me her foot started to hurt/cramp and that's why she jumped up, other than that she was happy. But she neglects to tell me these things so I end up not knowing whats going on. Now I told her that if she is uncomfortable or things become unpleasant she needs to tell me.

Although I believe 文法の間違い is correct....How does this sound ?Glenn said:I think for the meaning that I gave something like 日本語を使えば使うほど文法的な間違いをしてしまいます. You could drop the 使えば if you want, but I'm not sure what kind of difference that makes.
Elizabeth said:Although I believe 文法の間違い is correct....How does this sound ?
Elizabeth said:ゆく is used in certain poetic descriptions and unless you're talking about missing people a lot, ゆき will be a lot more useful, esp for destination points (Tokyouki or Tokyo made....). 東京行きの電車に行きます。
Glenn said:Man, I'm striking out here. Yeah, that's right. I'm not sure where I got 文法的な, but it doesn't seem to exist. :?
文法的な is "grammatical," but for some reason the normal usage seems to be "文法の間違い"HotondoNaNashi said:48,000 Google hits for "文法的" の. That's 'exist-y' enough for me.
It isn't that bad at all, pika la !pika la said:Un~~
Something like that. Cuz if I try to use more normal japanese there's more mistakes. But if I were to talk in plain short sentences that make sence, they're fine ><
Isn't 文法的な usually used with ayamari (errors) ? for a more precise English translation....pipokun said:'grammatical errors', 'errors of grammar', and 'errors in grammar'
文法的な間違い
文法の間違い
文法上の間違い
Rather difficult to tell the differences...
Elizabeth said:Isn't 文法的な usually used with ayamari (errors) ? for a more precise English translation....
Error は、もう少し硬い感じがしますね。Mistake 。。の方が、気軽に使えるし、Error はとても真剣な感じかな。pipokun said:~的は、本来副詞を作る表現だと思います。なので、動詞が続かないと少し不自然に感じるかと思います。例えば、文法的な間違いがある。
訂正:
~的は、形容詞も作りますね。
少し分からなくなってきた。考えてみます。
もしかしてElizabethさんは、、、
mistake/errorを頭の中で使い分けていますか?

As you pointed out there is no need to repeat 「思う」.Tsuyoiko said:私が思うに人は言えばわかる人だと思う。
Is there something wrong with this sentence? It doesn't seem right to me. The two 思うs bug me.
ralian said:As you pointed out there is no need to repeat 「思う」.
How about:
私が思うに、人は言えばわかってくれるんじゃないかな。
私が思うに、人は言えばわかってくれるのではないだろうか。
I tried to keep the original wording.
No problem, Tsuyoiko.Tsuyoiko said:Thanks Ralian, you are my heroine!:
