My Well Thought-Out Introduction

Hello! I'm brand new to the site and pretty excited to be here! I'm studying for a degree in Hospitality and Tourism, and in the meantime I work as a housekeeper at night. While I work, I like to listen to various podcasts so that I can learn something, laugh, or do both at the same time. I haven't found a Japan-themed one yet but I hope to learn as much about the country as I can! I've taken a brief course in my local college about Japanese history and culture (although my textbook was stolen!) and I'm saving up for Rosetta Stone so that I can pick up some Japanese before I travel there someday. My current plan is to visit Tokyo, but I'd love to learn what makes other cities or towns in Japan amazing too. My goal is to perhaps find a blog or pen pal I can learn from!
