Morning Musume

hello everybody

i dont understand japanese sometimes, but i think when your not japanse, you can never understand them 100%.

what i dont understand is that the group morning musume,,, girls from 14 till 19 or something isnt? when you see the audiance they have, there all old guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and i dont think this guys come for listen to there music, because thats crap.....

isnt it a bit hentai? guys from 35-40 that watch girls from that age? or am i wrong in that?

 
I dunno.. when I've seen the audience they've always been 14 year old girls...
And from what I've heaard from teh few Japanese I've talked to about it, that's about the audience they have... the little girls...


Some of the older chicks are pretty hot tho... I'd do 'em.

i don't mind a bit of morning musume. i would go to their show if i had the chance.
 
dude, some are like 13.. I can't say publically I'd do them!...

I mean.. I'd never even think that... hehe... hrm..
 
i think there is a differnece of 15-25 then 35-45.

in my country lot of things are posible, but if old guys (so many of them) go to concert.. that would be trouble haha.

but i must say yes, some of them look hot ( im 20 , not 45 😌 )
 
i think alot of adult male japanese guys "perfer" underage girls so ya...^^;;;
 
Morning Musume ?

Never heard of these girls until I came here.. Why one earth are there so many of them? X__X
 
Yea they are at like the seventh or 8th generation. There are also a lot of girls, who once was in the group, but graduated, but still, perform on the label as a group.
 
Jesus christ. O___O THERE'S TOO MANY OF THEM!!! *bonks a few of them out* It seems a bit excesive (sp?) to have THAT many girls singing.. >__<
 
i never heard of them T_T but holy crap.....that is a lot of girls.......how do they all sing in the same song?! x_x doesnt it get confusing if they all sing together? i mean even if they take turns isnt the song like "cluttered" so to speak.
 
mostly they only gather all of them for few songs. Also keep in mind that sometimes they leave MM or gets fired (like Ai Kago and Mari Yaguchi.... Damned!)

Most commonly the members of MM is divided into small subgroups who works for the Hello! Projects (H!P). And there is a lot of those groups each with their only silly name.

*cackles* i just borrowed a whole load of their CDs from my friend... i love them XDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

but i think i preffer MiniMoni... cos they're just insane XD
 
Well they have also had a boost with Koharu as well her single Balalaika was in the top ten a few weeks ago.
 
I'm older than most MM fans and I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I like them. They're kind of what I'd have to call a "guilty pleasure." Yeah, they are cute, but if that's all they were I wouldn't bother buying the CDs, I'd just download the photos. Plus, there are loads of cute JPOP singers out there whose music I don't buy because I don't like their music.

MM was one of the first groups I listened to when I discovered JPOP a few years ago. I find that the music is very upbeat and great "feel good" music. It's great music to listen to early in the morning when you're trying to wake up.

Here's a funny story. A couple years ago, I was in Japan with my wife and we were talking to some people we had just met at lunch and one of the guys says he likes Japanese music and my wife blurts out that I listen to MM. I could have crawled under the table. Later, I explained to her that "outting" me as a MM fan was a little like telling everyone I listened to Britney Spears (which I don't... well, except for that one song).

Seems like a grave generalization in my opinion.

Yes, it's true there are the perverts out there that go there cause they want the girls but there are a good amount of normal people at Morning Musume and Hello! Project concerts. They just aren't the ones getting the attention.

I'm male, and yes, I like a good amount of the girls in H!P but the main attraction has ALWAYS been Tsunku's amazing pop creations. And many people lose sight of that.

The girls are hardworking and people reacting to how many there are obviously haven't seen Onyanko Club or Bishoujo Club 31 (the former at one point had over 50 members, Hello! Project as a whole, not including the Eggs, doesn't even make 50.)

It's a lot like Evangelicalists. The crazy ones are what is shown to people as they're the ones that grab the most attention but there are certainly evangelicalists that live on moderation.

I'm crazy for Morning Musume but I don't think I'm particularly creepy about it. And anyways, I'm 18. Most of the girls are my age or older.

god... i love them.. they are like... every single steriotype of jpop all rolled into one MASSIVE band XDDDD
their music is TERRIBLY up beet and just... so... 'candy' it's like... 3 year old girls in pink dresses and big bows and little puppy dogs licking their faces - that's what it's like XD

i love it... i love the whole cheese factore...

but i didn't know Tsunku produced/ managed (?) Amyumi Hamasaki... does he still? GOD he must be loaded... @.@

MM to some extent reminds me of the micky mouse club... when they actually bothered to get kids and make music...except there's no boys ^^;
 
Well for News...Aika I think is the New 8th generation member.

A double tragedy for Yoshikawa as 1) they are graduating her and 2) Her younger brother just died in a car accident.

They are releasing their 8th album soon. And 2 New Singles one of which will be the 10th anniversary single...

Please dont ask me how I know this >.> <.<
 
I first saw morning musume on the very bizaar Mechaike Bakajo Kimatsu Test - although I had no idea who they were for sometime after until I was recounting the tale to a Japanese friend.

One thing that struck me was how much the girls get paid??? I can see that there must be a lot of money coming in, but as the producer probably takes off most of this and the fact there are so many girls in the group, that can't leave much to go around???
 
Amos, they get paid plenty. They don't all get paid the same, but I think 40 million yen ($300,000 or so U.S.) each on average is in the ballpark. It's not Hamasaki money but it pays the rent.

omigod... does anyone know anything about this album Evil Morning????

it has songs on from Morning Musume, Mini Moni, Miki Fujimoto, Melon Kinenbi, Maki Goto, Country Musume, Aya Matsuura and a few others.... except... it's just the vocal line... the backing has been like... chnaged to like... Geramn metal or somthing... o.O
