So the embassy called me yesterday and they want me to go there tomorrow.
They say that tehy are going to give some papers and that I should take a pen and something to take notes.
Anyone knows what is it for? :S

@Mikyo Yes, I had my interview around 2 or 3 weeks ago.
@Squishy They gave a lot a papers that I have to fill, including Application Guidelines (only for reading), Placement Preference for Japanese Government Scholarship (optional), 3 Application Forms and a Certificate of Health.
They also gave me a list of papers that I have to give them like my grades form school and university, a recomendation from a professor, etc.

So, I guess you've got the scholarship, right?

Not really, those are the papers that the embassy is going to send to Japan so the univesity or universities decide if they give me the scholarship. But at least I'm one step closer.

Does anybody know roughly the chances of getting into Tokyo with this? I'd like to do Humanities A with either Philosophy or Psychology and I'd prefer to study in a large city....

@ivankaa I heard that you need almost perfect or perfect score in your exam plus excellent grades from school or universitie to get to study in Tokyo. Is the hardest one.

My grades are pretty damn bad but everything went smoothly for me ^^

Oh, that's good! Makes me feel a little bit more at ease now. But I did just find out that only around 5 people apply for the scholarship every year where I live... and that they typically send nobody ☝

it depends on different things ...
it's not the same every year... in my country they say they might send 3 to 0 ... and i'm still waiting to see if i'm one of those people or not!!!!
so just give it a try , it won't hurt!? but nothing is certain till the end!!!!

Another question~ How did you guys learn Japanese? I'm finding it hard to learn the kun-yomi readings ( I can memorise the meanings and the on yomi....) and grammar is going slowly for me. I've looked at the practise papers....and it looks very hard, past what a beginner could do ><" I'm doing humanities so Japanese is important...

I can't really help u with that , cause I didn't learn Japanese!!!!

@ivankaa focus more on learning words that utilise the kanji you're learning~ that way you know how to spell more words plus it's easier to remember the readings..I've tried just learning the readings but I can never remember them when I try to memorise them that way ^^
As for gramma,I'm not too good with that but I'd say learning the particles can help you understand a bit of what's going on in a sentence~

embassy called me today, they said that my signature in one of the documents was copy not original , and they said that they was informed from Japan about it....
I've been thinking about it, does it mean that they've started checking documents with universities ????
Ahhh, this won't harm my process , right ???

Wait,the copy needed to be signed by hand? I just printed one of the orginals ._.

It sure seems so! This kinda excites me but once again makes me wonder why they take so long xD

I don't know but I sure hope not! It would be so unfair ._.

I think it's because there are many applicants and they want to announce them at the same time....!

Yeah.. I signed the two originals and then just got a copy of one of the two..the lady at the embassy didn't say anything about it though..

Well,the finding out ranges from December to February though which is why I'm curious xD
