Monbukagakusho Undergraduate 2015

Does anybody have any tips or online resources for learning/preparing for the math exam? Being art high school student I have barely any math knowledge apart from what I learned in elementary school, most of which is forgotten anyway. I have about one month to catch up and I'm quite certain it's not even possible but I think I'll try anyway. I started studying a few days ago and I'm able to do solve some of the exam questions already, but any help is welcome.

I'm pretty much in the same situation with the math but I haven't managed to find anything really helpful..I just suggest you look up basic algebra and slowly advance to harder stuff..if I come across anything good I'll post it here ^^

Hello:) I too am planning to apply for this scholarship.

I was wondering if you could help me out on a couple of things regarding the application form?

- What do they mean by "field of study you specialised in at high school"? I take biology, chemistry, and maths A levels. What would my "field" be?
- Up till what grade are they expecting in the "elementary school" column, and what about lower secondary?

Thanks:)

hi keshant,
Could you please send the undergraduate Past year yr 2011&2012 to me? (If possible send the yr 2013 to me as well) the subjects are chem, bio, math b and english.

Your help would be reatly appreciated. Tq.

Field of study specialized is basically your subject choices......so you would write Biology,Chemistry and the other things you chose to do.

Elementary school is basically your years in junior school and lower secondary are your years in High school.

If you would post your Email I'll send you a Sample application that might help you figure things out.

By the way, does any of you know how much the minimum score needed to be recommended by the embassy is? The embassy lady told me that such a minimum exists, but she isn't allowed to tell me. :/

Also, I would watch your movie haha :P

Apparently you need to score a 50 in each exam to even pass......but that could not apply to College of tech students or even certain countries.... the only thing to do is do your best and hope that it is higher than the minimum!

Survivor xDDD
Sounds like it's time for chapter two of the documentary..

Definitely.........Osaka chapter 2:The lone survivor.......we already have a supporter. All we need is for Wardoosh to make contact with the survivor and report the details.

Chancey posted a good site on the line group.
Grade 10 Mathematics
Just type grade 11 and 12 in the search box at the bottom.
Well done though at least you can do some of the math questions as most are too tough for me, you should join the Line group because there is some useful Math notes and people will help if you ask.

You 2 should join the Line group ^^

I asked my friend about the dorm. He said people have separate rooms but shared bathrooms and common areas. He seemed very happy about the city life and he always tells me that Osaka is a wonderful city. Any more questions?

Hey, what should I do if I sent the embassy an email and they don't respond.

Hi,

You should contact the consulate via phone call instead of sending them an email better, sometimes, they will need time to reply back all the emails, since right now the application for MEXT scholarship has commenced, they will probably be busy in the meantime. Just try to get the number from the official website in respect to the country you are from to inquire information that you required. Hope this will help you at least^^ All the best to your application

Hi! hope your doing well! I'm from Chile and I'll be applying for the undergraduate scholarship, I have practiced for several weeks doing math exercises and studying chemestry and biology, but still I've some questions about the syllabus of the subjects. It's a rough path but we may succeed if our goals are clear! so get our lazzy asses up and study as damn crazy people!

Greetings to everyone!
