Monbukagakusho Undergraduate 2015

Well,it should be all capitals..I'm gonna write it as it is in my outdated passport .maybe you can look up current passports and write it like you see it..
I'm gonna look into everything this week..I gotta get myself to study math day and night too cause I've got a ton of catching up to do.. ._.
Heh,same..I don't really know anything about Osaka.. ^^;
I really hope to meet everyone too~ This is getting really exciting xD
And thanks,I'll try to make it come out like that ^^
I finished high school in June. I didn't know you could finish earlier!

Well i sent it via email cause I battled attaching it to a message did you get it?

I wonder what it's taking the application in my country so long. The embassy said till the end of the month.:eek:

I got it! Thanks! I notice that there the application has the name written first in normal style, then in all caps. I wish we got example applications too haha.
Sorry, I tried posting it but my laptop is taking it's own time to find the file so i can post it.
So, anyone got any tips at all about this entire scholarship process?

Check this out:

It's for research students specifically but i think it can apply to all other branches of this program.

Ok,thanks a lot! :D
Can't really say I do..all I've got is that we should give it our all and hope for the best.. ^^;

1# tip:Hope that not too many people show up at the embassy!That's what i'm counting on.

Hahaha my consulate said that about 12 people apply a year.
How are your grades for the past 3 years?

Oh what would you guys say when they ask in the interview "when you return to your country how will you be the ambassador between our two countries?" legit question asked!

Or hope that very few people apply worldwide so then we'll be the best choices they'll have xD

I'll probably have the worst grades out of all the applicants.. ^^
You?

Shimatta...I've got no idea.. ^^;
Can I say that I'll probably wanna stay in Japan? ^^;

Hmmmm not sure but it sure is a nasty question if I didnt know about this one beforehand id probably just sit there like an idiot and say "I dunno ill tell everyone it was nice?"

Lol i would be like "whats an ambassador?" xD haha no id probably answer with something along the lines of ill tell about my experience in japan so more people can be interested in Japan since my country, as well as many others, are not big speakers of japanese.
Id also say though that i want to stay in Japan but then you gotta give a really good reason on staying in there.

I think my grades are okay. Has there ever been anyone to get rejected in the stage of simply document screening?

xDDD
Good to know indeed and thanks for mentioning it! But I gotta say,I'd wanna see their reactions if someone said that xD

You should check other countries embassies sites for applications as they are the same just compare the new ones with your old countries application to make sure.......good luck!:D

That sounds pretty good actually..
True.."because it looks awesome" probably won't suffice xD
There should be,mostly in places with lots of applicants..the only reason I have a chance at this is because of the very few applicants.

In South Africa a reply like that is 100% gonna happen.......hmmmm now that i think about it my chances are good then.

Dont forget that if too little applicants show up they wont take from the country as they dont have a standard to compare you to......5 sounds reasonable i hope.

xDDDD
Maybe you'll be interviewed with whoever says that and be able to tell us about it :3

Well, i think 95% of americans who like japan are the ones who only want to go for anime lol.
I was shocked though that my consulate said that 12 people apply a year(just at my consulate since there are several here). Cause here in america, most people who like japanese dont want to go through the hard work learning it, they just want to know it.

the age range is 17-22 and im assuming that people already in college wont apply. I think most people here go to college straight out of high school or take a year off. As just a guess, the majority of applicants are 18-19, and i really dont think many people will apply.
