I just got an email from my professor that I have been accepted for the program at Kobe University. I am so relieved. I hope everyone else gets good news!
Have any ones know what we will have to do now? When will we receive the documents to apply a visa?
I will have a trip to Germany in this August, so I need finish visa to Japan before departing my country in August.

Maybe I will ask my professor to request the visa documents sooner, if possible! He said me that my trip will be made by the office staff at the Center for supporting foreign students, Kyushu Univ.

Therefore, I am not sure that you can apply for the visa before that.
Anyway, please consult your professor and Japanese embassy in your country.
Are there anyone got the result from MEXT in case of special recommendation?

Have you had any information from Nagoya Uni so far?I applied to Nagoya University too, but I don't have any info... My school didn't say a word about when the results come out. Did your school say something about it?

I am also from Bangladesh and nice to hear about you. As far as I know all the selected students will get some documents in the mid of July from their universities.

I applied for regular MEXT and the only thing I know is that the result will be released in April - June. But I know a guy from my country, applying last year (2014), he got the result in May 5,2014.Nop, nothing. I think I applied to Special Recommendation so this results come out in June-July according to MEXT website.
phuongcatp, don't lost hope. You can try agian for next time or maybe you also come to Japan, then you can apply private scholarship.I see private ones very much.Newly got the result. I failed again. So sad !!!!

Phuongcatp, I think your supervisor is the most important. And it is so good if you have a letter of strongly recommendation from your supervisor.
