hey guys! as you know there is already a thread for the MEXT scholarship - research 2016 ( MEXT Scholarship 2016 (Research) | Japan Forum ) , but I thought it might be a good idea to start one specially for Indian students, as i saw many Indian students commenting on that thread!

Hey guys! i have applied for the research student Scholarship from India! What are the chances of getting selected for this Scholarship? (I am so so so nervous about it!) Same with me i didnot contact 3 professors though. Your applications are screened when u send them. Thats primary sceening.

there is a MEXT applicants group on fb, pls check there. There are posts related to maths over there. I think the syllabus will be from 10th std to 12th std.

You have applied for the research student scholarship? Selected candidates were informed via e mail. So cant provide you with a link. Interviews were conducted in the last week of june.

I have got a email from japanese embassy. I have given the screening test but still waiting for the results. MHRD really mess up the technical interview
