Well, 3 from my university (including me). I don't know if there are more applicants The waiting is the worst. I initially thought that we will get the final results by the end of June... But no, we have to wait another month???!

I chose Osaka Kyoiku, Nara Kyoiku and Shizuoka U. But I would be happy with any university (if Mext decided that I should go elsewhere) because just being able to live in Japan and to study at a Japanese university would be great enough

Totally agree with you! I would go to any university too
Let's hope to get our results soon! Because I'm kinda getting depressed already I haven't waited for something for so long

I see. I only need to send the pledge. It seems that they would send me more details later. And, I also hope that the university will somehow contact me. I don't know if I should contact them first and thank them, ask them... I rather not because I'm too shy and nervous . My Japanese is also not that great yet.

Yeah, I'm thinking about contacting my university too I don't know if we should contact them first.. My Japanese is not that good too.. So it's making me a bit nervous..
I have to improve my Japanese before I go to Japan haha
