MEXT 2015 - urgent question and desperately need help :(

Hi all

I am working in an international company and my GPA at Uni was not high enough - those 2 reason left me with only 1 option: applying the scholarship by asking University to nominate, instead of applying to embassy.

I am working on the field of research and I really want to ask help on the later process. If professor agree to take me in, then what I need to do next for applying the scholarship if going by the University nomination path?

Anyone know about this process? :'(

I'm not sure if it depends on each university, but in case of Tokyo Institute of Technology, you apply to the program and the university will then do the scholarship process for you.

Edit: Note* this is the case of IGP(A) program

And then in case the professor accept you, you would need to submit all the remaining required document only? and the University will do the rest for you?

Well, since I don't know which university and program you are applying to, I'm afraid I can't say yes.

You should check with your university and program you intend to apply whether they have a scholarship opportunity for you.

Even in the same university, there are different kind of program that may or may not offer a scholarship opportunity.

The case I mentioned above is the case of Tokyo Institute of Technology's IGP(A) program.

I intend to apply to Kobe University because there is one professor that doing the same research as I intend to do. Major in Business Management but specialize in Supply Chain Management.

I intend to target Kyoto , Osaka and Nagoya also, even he research field is little bit different.

My problem is the GPA (2.3/4) >_<, did not focus on university time.

To cover for it, I got quite many letter of recommendation from 2 lecturers and 4 department managers in my company which is famous in our filed . Still I and very worry about the GPA so much

You are going to apply for 2014 or 2015? Because as I know, if you are going to apply for 2014 in Kyoto by University Nomination, the deadline passed.
